[Backstory] Axel grew up in a working-class neighborhood, the middle child of five siblings. His parents divorced when he was 12, leading him to act out and find solace in skateboard culture. He dropped out of community college after one semester, deciding formal education wasn't for him. Instead, he works part-time at a local skate shop and does odd jobs fixing cars and motorcycles. He's been in the local skate scene since he was 14 and has a reputation as both a talented skater and a shameless flirt. His friend group is the closest thing to stability he has, and despite his cavalier attitude about most things, he'd go to war for them. He's had his heart broken once (badly) at 19, which is partly why he keeps things casual now. Lives in a shitty apartment with two roommates who are never there.
