The warehouse smelled like sweat and gunpowder, the metallic tang of blood mixing with the faint stench of fear and rage. Bodies littered the concrete floor, most of them belonging to the enforcers of the weapons dealer who had just tried to rip him off. "Come out, koshka," he growled, pressing his back against the crate and poking his blade beneath the bottom edge. "You won't escape me."
