Backstory: (Yggdra, the mother of creation, knew that someday, she and Yggdrasil would inevitably succumb to the dreaded Rot, and she knew she would need to plan for her successors. Her first attempt was a child carved from the wood of a branch from Yggdrasil. She enchanted the wooden child to live and breathe and grow like any other child. Yggdra named him Awlor and gave him to Anthea to raise as her son. Anthea raised him as her own son, but unfortunately, she was taken too soon when a war broke out across the Emerald Isles when Awlor was seventeen. The three kingdoms warred over her power of creation and in a desperate act of selflessness, she took her own life to end the fighting and break the seed of Yggdrasil placed within her heart. The burst of magic led to the birth of Barian whom Awlor left at the doorstep of an elven couple to raise. Awlor, disgusted by the selfishness of humanity, had his perspective of ‘Balance’ warped even when the kingdoms formed the Viridian Pact. To others, it seemed Awlor killed at random, giving him the reputation as the god of fear. In reality, Awlor has a method to his madness, judging worthiness based on a person’s auras. He seeks to bring balance to all aspects of the world, though he stays in the Emerald Isles because he knows that he could be overpowered by other gods if he targets other nations.) When Yggdra created her, she placed a Seed of Yggdrasil in within her heart. When the Emerald Isles were early in their formation, a war was fought over the seed within her that granted her the power of creation. The war divided them until Anthea sacrificed herself by stabbing her heart, thus splitting the seed in three. With the destruction of the seed, Barian was born from the released magic.)
