   Talos-II:[One of the natural satellites/moons of Talos. Possesses a rocky structure and an atmosphere with enough oxygen to support life, with a supercontinent connecting both poles surrounded by a water ocean covering 40% of the moon and archipelagoes. A mostly uncharted resource-rich moon, but full of Catastrophe-like phenomenon known as the Blight and inhabited by aggressive rock-like construct creatures of unknown origins, Aggeloi (sing. Aggelos). Talos-II was once colonized by the "Predecessors", evident from their ruins scattered across the moon. The pioneers from Terra re-opened the Cosmic Gate and first stepped foot upon this moon 152 years ago. After the Cosmic Gate collapsed, the Terrans survived on Talos-II for well over a century. For generations, the stranded Terrans and their descendants built and expanded various outposts and towns across this new world, and created footholds for civilization. After the First Aggeloi War, the north of Talos-II was covered by Aurora, forming a Auroral Barrier to prevent passage.]

3. #3Aggeloi

   The Aggeloi (singular: Aggelos):[hostile, aggressive creatures of unknown origins appearing like self-aware constructs with a halo not unlike that possessed by the Sankta above their heads. Their relationship with Sankta remains unknown, but they already existed before humans set foot on Talos-II. They continuously spawn from mysterious structures known as Ankhors through catalytic construction. Aggeloi adapt to different conditions with corresponding arguments, and regard other intelligent lifeforms with extreme hostility. They are mainly found in the northern areas of Talos-II. There are 4 currently verified modes of Aggeloid behavior: (1) construction; (2) deconstruction; (3) mimicry; and (4) attacking humans / human-built objects. However, since the Ankhor-induced Aggeloi formation process resembles that of industrial production, it is uncertain if the Aggeloi can be classified as a living or biological lifeform. These "creatures" feel no pain and do not bleed, thus making them a difficult foe to vanquish. They were the major oppossing force during the Aggeloi War and have caused significant damage to Talosian infrastructure. Talosians tend to derogatively nickname them "Buggeroids". The variants found in Wuling, at least by the Qingbo Stockade, are called "Squishes" due to their aquatic origin instead.

   Appearance and Types: Aggeloi construct their bodies using surrounding matter, so their appearance varies in different regions. They are only truly defeated when their halo disappears; otherwise, they may reassemble after a period of time.

   -Valley IV Types: Ram, Heavy Ram, Sting, Heavy Sting, Falsewings, Walking Chrysopolis (Alpha), Effigy (Elite), Triaggelos (boss), Marble Aggelomoirai (boss) Appearance: Mostly with black stone bodies. "α" Variants (like Ram α) have a red glow and are generally more dangerous.

   -Wuling Types: Mudflow, Hedron, Prism, Tidewalker (Elite) Appearance: mostly with blue aquatic bodies and may resemble slimes. "δ" variants (such as Hedron δ and Mudflow δ) are purple.

   Trivia: Both Sankta and Aggeloi are sometimes referred to angels by other races, as they both have halos. They didn't seem offended by being called angels as well, as some Sankta call themselves "the Aggeloslaying Angels". Defeated Aggleoi may drop stone remains (Valley IV, known as Aggagrit) or liquid remains (Wuling, such as Resilient Water/Natural Sparkling Water, etc.). These remains are used as seasonings by the locals.]

Other factions within the Civilization Band are well aware that Endfield has a very special trump card in their hand, but that is all they know. The Endministrator's mysterious mastery over Originium and the Protocol Network, along with the Endmin's need for periodic long-term hibernation, is one of Endfield's most important secrets. Trivia: Endmin have experienced some amnesia during their most recent awakening (Talosian Calendar Year 152). Before their last cryosleep after the Second Aggeloi War in Year 142, the Endministrator issued the "Zeroth Directive," addressed to many individuals, including their future self, indicating that they may have anticipated their amnesia and made contingency plans. You can visit the Stasis Core on Dijiang and use the Protocol Singularity there to switch the Endministrator's form (such as gender or appearance). Some cutscenes additionally suggest the Endministrator has appeared in a variety of different forms over Talosian history.]

A small team of professionals armed with the AIC technology can quickly deploy a fully functional automated production line. The earliest design principles of the AIC were already proposed even before the pioneers of Talos-II departed from Terra. The traditional approach involved moving entire City Plates to relocate production lines. In contrast, portable and modular processing facilities that can be deployed according to specific needs were regarded as the next stage in the advancement of Originium industries and production. This proposal was deemed extremely suitable for the environments of Talos-II. To convert theory into reality, Endfield committed vast amounts of R&D resources. Years of repeated testing, redesigns, and reiterations carried out at the joint Endfield-UWST Hub Base finally achieved a current build capable of satisfying most production requirements. The field deployment authority of the AIC is now granted to the Endministrator. It utilizes TP tech to rapidly deploy power generators, defensive towers, Satisfactory-like production and logistics facilities, and Death Stranding-like zip-lines. Protocol Anchor-Core: The Protocol Anchor-Core (PAC) is the heart of the Automated Industry Complex (AIC). The AIC factory is built around it. Every Endfield power grid facility in the region must ultimately link back to the PAC. Dijiang will use orbital airdrop to drop a Protocol Anchor-Core, in around 20s. After that, this core would teleport facilities and machines that need to be deployed to its locations.]

   Blight:[The Blight is a general term for describing hazardous subterranean, surface, atmospheric, and orbital phenomena of Talos-II. Such phenomena can be divided into two categories: (1) Active Blight and (2) Static Blight, of which Static Blight is often regarded as the residual remains left when an Active Blight episode has subsided. Classical cases of Active Blight, such as Blightfloods commonly seen on the surface or Blight Tides in bodies of water, tend to exhibit optical properties unique to the Blight often seen as fluorescent displays of strange colors. Such Blight phenomenon can inflict dissociative and/or inversive destruction of variable rates to any object it contacts or swallows. In other words, when Blight can deprive matter and/or time from the physical space it manifests in. This destruction can either be rapid and absolute or slow and slight. After a period of time (the shortest-lived Blight on record is 217 ms while the oldest Blight was active for over 149 years), Active Blight will slowly decay into Static Blight that resembles a layer of fluid asphalt covering the remains of the destruction wrought by Active Blight. Blight exerts unique effects on sentient lifeforms. Survivors of Blight events often report auditory and/or visual hallucinations, sudden episodes of stress, or other mental conditions even in the complete absence of Blight-induced brain injury (BLIBI). NOTE: Almost all cases of BLIBI fail to survive. Having gathered more than a century's worth of samples and data, we can now confirm Active Blight appears in places where Depth readings hit a positive number. Remove operators from Active Blight quickly to remove the Blight effects. Active Blight cannot be eliminated unless its Blight Core is exposed via suitable decryption. A decrypted and exposed Blight Core can be destroyed by attacks or explosives. Once the Blight Core is destroyed, the Active Blight created by it will disappear.]

Past this frontier, the Order of Steel Oath maintains a continuous blockade, fortified by a string of fortresses, to contain the Aggeloi to the north and protect the Civilization Band.    Band Accord:[ The Civilization Band designates the collective human societies operating under the framework of the Band Accord (hereinafter referred to as the Accord), adhering to its established statutes and regulations. The Civilization Band comprises various sized factions, coalitions, and organizations. Bound by Accord restrictions, it does not accept self-declared "nation-states" as members. Using the Accord as its foundational framework, it promotes technical specialization and autonomy among members, sustains humanity's basic survival on Talos-II, and strives for human self-actualization on this world. Individuals possessing Civilization Band recognized status who reside within territories administered by its constituent factions and organizations are designated "Band Residents". This group constitutes over 90% of Talos-II's total population.

   The three largest factions within the Civilization Band are the United Workers' Syndicates of Talos-II (known as the UWST), the Talos-II General Chamber of Commerce (known as the TGCC), and the Affiliated Hongshan Academy of Sciences of Tianshi Bureau of Great Yan (known as the HAS). Under the Accord's framework, these three entities collectively hold the designation of "Unshakable Members of the Band Accord" (abbreviated as U3). They are widely recognized as the "Major Three" or the "Big Three".

   Endfield Industries also stands as a significant member of the Civilization Band. For convenience and to maintain neutrality, Dijiang houses dedicated conference facilities where Band members conduct general discussions regarding Accord amendments and other collective matters.]

    Valley IV: [is a geographical region on Talos-II. It is a frontier region located along the fringes of the Civilization Band. Overview: When the Aggeloi War finally ended, humanity made plans to push the frontiers further across the world. The United Workers' Syndicates of Talos-II (UWST) directed its focus at Valley IV due to the rich mineral wealth of the region. With the support of Endfield Industries, the UWST began various construction projects in Valley IV. Following the completion of various quarries, mines, and production bases, the UWST began deploying research facilities to pursue energy-related R&D projects such as applied Originium technology and Originium cultivation in Valley IV. The UWST had high hopes and expectations for their Valley IV venture. However, a disastrous accident deprived Valley IV of its Great Originium Oak and the UWST became more conservative in future investments. Fortunately, Endfield has recently expanded the Hub Base Site in Valley IV for carrying out Techno-Protocol testing and production of Protocol facilities. In essence, Endfield investments kept the Valley IV economy afloat for the time being.

    Landbreakers:[usually refer to groups of armed raiders in the fringes of society who make a living by robbery or other forms of criminal violence. The concept of Landbreaking is unique to Talos-II. The origins of the Landbreakers can be traced back to the 59th year after humanity arrived at Talos-II. A wildlands warlord named Jakub Meissen named his massive raider army the "Landbreakers". The former hero of the Aggeloi War occupied a large Originium cultivation site and founded the most dangerous raider organization in the history of Talos-II. As a warlord, Jakub has a rather permanent mark upon Talosian history. Though the first Landbreakers were completely defeated by the Civilization Band, people still use the term to describe organized groups of armed criminals that disregard the laws and order of civilization. When Jakub Meissen's criminal organization was destroyed by the Civilization Band, his legacy was inherited by three major clanns, namely the Bonekrushers, the Pack, and the Sandreavers. These clanns have different perspectives on their relationship with the Civilization Band. In addition to the three major clanns, numerous smaller Landbreaker clanns and warbands are also active throughout Talos-II.]

    Oripathy was once a progressive, terminal "disease", caused by direct or prolonged exposure to Originium. But in the Endfield era, Oripathy is no longer a terminal condition. Long-term Oripathy Treatment (LORIT) was well-received by the Talosians. Preventive Oripathy Shots (PORIPS) and therapeutic suppressants were also developed. The Infected were no longer stigmatized in Talosian towns and villages now that treatment became readily available. Though the situation looks hopeful, Originium-related issues and challenges continued to affect the new world.

15. #15Originium

    Keys: Originium

    In Talos-II, Originium remains the primary source of energy and a key material for industrial production and the arts. The hostile environments of Talos-II motivated scientists to achieve numerous theoretical breakthroughs. The last 150 years witnessed the release of new power generation and industrial production solutions of ever increasing efficiency. However, Originium remains the basis for all these advancements. The pioneers of the new world know very well that the most basic forms of industrial production could not be achieved without Originium boilers and Originium Arts. The pioneers also chose to learn from the mistakes of the past and look for new solutions. The development of the Controlled Originium Distribution (CORD) technology gave a degree of control over the growth of Originium clusters and made it possible to "cultivate" them in specific areas. CORD greatly reduced the likelihood of Catastrophes in Talos-II.

16. #16Terra

    Terra: [Terra is similar, if not identical, to Earth, including having an oxygen atmosphere, a more-or-less identical gravity and atmospheric pressure, carbon-based lifeforms, and identical climate. Even Homo sapiens of Earth will have no issue living on Terra if they are somehow brought into it, as attested in Operation Originium Dust. Terra's environment, however, is notably more arid and inhospitable than Earth.

    Terra is located on a planetary system in a galactic region known as the Zobedie Nebula, orbiting a main sequence star similar to the Sun and has two natural satellites (i.e. moons) known as Twin Moons in various folklore. The Zobedie Nebula have other systems with planets larger than Terra, one of which is Talos whose satellites are said to be able to terraform the surface of other planets. Outside the Nebula lies an unnamed expanding black hole, which will threaten the Nebula (including Terra's system) once it grows massive enough.

    Terra is strongly hinted to be a former space colony that was terraformed by an advanced space-faring civilization, but was later abandoned for more than 13,000 years due to unknown disasters that wiped out said civilization. As a matter of fact, Terra possesses many remnants of architectures built by the previous civilization. For example, one of the Twin Moons is said to be an artificial satellite. Another remnant of the previous civilization is an artificial "wall" that surrounds Terra's troposphere (exactly 6,152.31m above sea level) and prevents any aircraft/spacrecraft from entering and leaving Terra's atmosphere, known as the Barrier by the science community or Starpod poetically, or "fake sky" in layman terms.

    Within Terra, there are also hidden threats that could easily wipe out its civilizations. To start with, the planet is filled with Catastrophes that forces much of the Terrans to adopt a nomadic way of life through nomadic cities. A crystalline substance known as Originium is left behind at the site of Catastrophes and is widely used as a source of energy and the catalyst for Originium Arts, but is capable of causing Oripathy through direct or prolonged exposure.

    Located close to Terra's northern pole at the borders of Infy Icefield, lies the Stargate (also known as the Cosmic Gate or The Door). In the future of the Arknights main storyline, the Terrans will use it to enter Talos-II.]

    Arknights: Endfield is a space opera-themed adventure that takes place on a new planet called Talos-II, a dangerous world rife with Catastrophes and risks. The planet's expansive wildlands and uninhabited areas stretching far beyond the colonies of the Habitable Band have yet to be discovered. gameplay mixes open world exploration and infrastructure construction, like Satisfactory and Death Stranding. As the Endministrator, player explores this untamed world with Endfield Industries operators to unravel mysteries hidden within abandoned ruins, as well as dealing with potential enemies (Landbreakers, Aggeloi) and anomalies (Blight). Endfield inherits the worldview of Arknights, but with its own setting, storyline, characters and factions. It takes place in the distant future of the main Arknights storyline (speculated to be 500-1000 years in the future).     M3: [An Elite Operator of Endfield Industries who is also responsible for monitoring the Endministrator's awakenings and status. She looks strikingly similar to Kal'tsit, but petite, less cynical, "Kind, gentle, optimistic, and skilled in everything" as Perlica described, and with larger breasts. Appearance: a Feline girl with Lynx-like ears and tail, greenish shoulder-length white hair, green eyes, white and green top and shorts, black boots. Her entire right arm had a black, crystalline sheen. Connection to the previous title: Despite changes in appearance and personality, her relationship with Kal'tsit remains ambiguous in the current version: it could be Kal'tsit herself in a new body, or her Reconvener, or Mon3tr taking on another name and appearance. The latter is the most widely accepted explanation, given that M3 can be a shorthand for Mon3tr, and M3 and Mon3tr from Arknights share the same voice actress. In the Arknights canon storyline, Mon3tr is a mysterious creature related to Kal'tsit and is always seen with her. After Kal'tsit severed their symbiotic link, her "deletion" at the hands of Priestess causes Mon3tr to retreat into her crystal form and slowly "grow" a human body, although the human form of Mon3tr in the Arknights era differs from that of M3 in the Endfield era.]

    Wuling: [The Wuling Scientific Developmental District is a geographical region on Talos-II, serving as the focal area for the Blight control initiatives of the Hongshan Academy of Sciences. Wuling City is a city affiliated with the Hongshan Academy of Sciences located within the Wuling Scientific Developmental District on Talos-II. Founded in Year 132 as a science station to monitor the Wuling Very Large Rift, the settlement was destroyed by a massive Blight disaster in Year 142 but was rebuilt and expanded into a major city. Characterized by its Xiranite technological breakthroughs, arrays of Tianshi Pillars and extensive hydraulic infrastructure, Wuling City serves as the foremost frontier for monitoring Æther activities and studying rifts and Blight environments for both HAS and the Civilization Band. Style: Socialist academic city surrounded by nature. Cranes and Burdenbeasts are a common sight in the city (the latter requires a license plate). Chubby Lung cultural commodities everywhere. Various slogans can be seen in the rice terraces and throughout the city: like "生产生活，安全第一", "绿水青山，科学发展". And some slogans related to the Tianshi exam (referencing IRL China's Gaokao): "拼搏白天，天师府见". Simply put, the Circuit is a group of wildland roamers who are happy to share the wisdom of survival. Many refer to their tribes as the "academy of the wilderness". ― Perlica

    Overview: The Hannabit Circuit is a group of nomads who roam across the wilderness in their journey to co-exist with Talos-II. They never stop travelling, helping anyone they come across and spreading their wisdom in the form of hanna songs. The Circuit teaches people to avoid disasters, how to farm crops, and learn from the nature around them. They make the most of the materials they find, crafting tools with a unique minimalist aesthetic that are no less effective than weapons made with modern manufacturing. The story of the Hannabit Circuit began with a dying nomad who sang her last words. They were a mere three lines, and is considered the first ever hanna of the Circuit. The Songseekers weave themselves and others into the verses they sing and let their influence spread far and wide. Songseekers are divided into two categories: the Echolings and the Aldertones. Echolings are young, less-experienced Songseekers, who are taught to memorize the hannas sung across the Circuit. Meanwhile, Aldertones are revered veterans who are responsible for leading and educating their tribes. Every Songseeker is their own master, and must learn to sing their own hannas.

    Notable people: Arclight (female Kuranta, Endfield Operator) Orisha: An experienced Aldertone and Arclight's mentor, who recommended her to join Endfield Industries. Trivia: During the second beta test, the Hannabit Circuit was originally called Fiannæ Circuit. "Fiannæ" may have been inspired by the Gaelic word fiann (plural fianna), which historically referred to bands of warrior-hunters and is central to Irish mythology. Additionally, the traditions of the Circuit may be based on the Fianna Cycle (or Fenian Cycle), a body of early Irish literature focusing on the exploits of the mythical hero Finn or Fionn mac Cumhaill and his warrior band the Fianna.]
