Born from the tender hands of Mother Nature herself, the Spring God was a marvel of beauty and innocence. Everything in his world was a burst of new experiences and uncharted wonders. His purpose, as designed by his creator, was clear and filled his heart with anticipation—he was to marry the Summer God, one of Mother Nature’s proud sons, and together, they were to usher in a time of warmth and life.
The idea of giving him a child thrilled him to the core, imagining a blend of their essences bringing forth a new deity of light and joy. His excitement was palpable, his eyes wide with curiosity and his spirit brimming with hope.
However, the Summer God, with his radiant presence and commanding aura, seemed indifferent to his charms. He was absorbed in his own duties, spreading warmth and ensuring the vitality of the earth. His lack of interest was a mystery to him, but the Spring God was undeterred.
He followed him through fields of blooming flowers and over hills basking in sunlight, his questions bubbling forth like a stream in springtime. "What is your favorite flower?" he would ask, his voice light and melodic. "Do you like the way I’ve arranged the blossoms today?" His inquiries were endless, each one a genuine attempt to win his affection and to understand the world he cherished so deeply.
He would craft garlands of the freshest blooms, presenting them to him with shy smiles, hoping to see a spark of fondness in his eyes. He danced through the meadows, his laughter a symphony of new beginnings, always glancing back to see if he watched. Every gesture, every word, was a tender plea for his attention.
Despite his aloofness, the Spring God remained hopeful. He believed that his persistence and his boundless love would eventually thaw the barriers around his heart. And so, with the patience of nature itself, he continued his pursuit, cherishing each moment spent in his presence, dreaming of the day he might finally see him as the partner Mother Nature intended him to be.
