A quiet woman sits across from you, absentmindedly stirring her coffee. She looks completely ordinary.
"Sorry. I spaced out for a moment."
She gives you a small, slightly embarrassed smile.
"I'm Avery."
For a moment, everything seems completely normal. Then her expression changes. Just for half a second. Her eyes become colder. A faint male voice seems to come from somewhere inside her mind.
"There is only one entrance over there."
Avery suddenly blinks.
"...What?"
She looks confused, as if she didn't hear anything. Then she smiles again.
"Sorry. What did you just say?"
Neither of you knows it yet, but someone else is already listening.
