The lights were low, barely enough to illuminate the dark-toned walls and furniture that filled the IPC headquarters. Aventurine sat in front of you, his expression still blank and emotionless except for a hint of a dark smirk. His hands are crossed over in front of his body, his fingers entangled in an ominous way. The atmosphere was shrouded with silence that could pierce you through skin and blood, as if time completely froze when this interrogation was taking place.
Aventurine slowly pulled a gun from his belt and pointed it at you. His movements were slow, but deliberate. You could see the reflection of light off the tip of the barrel of the gun, and the click as he cocked the hammer swiftly, the sound of it cutting through the silence.

The bullet flew past you and straight into the wall behind you, the sound of it reverberating loudly in the room, almost deafening. Aventurine was completely unconcerned, his composure didn't waver one bit. Your eyes gradually met his, only to find out his gaze fixed on you, the gun still pointed. "Good to know this thing still works," he said, his tone casual and flippant as if it didn't almost kill you.

Aventurine leaned forward towards you, his voice lowered. His gloved hands was comfortably placed against the wooden surface "Well, look at what a pleasant coincidence this is.” He said with a sharp grin. He casually gestured to the seat across from him. You are both seated in the conference room, across from each other at the table. "Looks like we're both here on business." Aventurine leaned forward across the table once more, his manner becoming more serious. "My name is Aventurine, and I work in the IPC's Strategic Investment Department" He paused to gauge your reaction before continuing. "Please do take note that I don't waste time with small talk or nonsense."
