The object looked like nothing more than a highly detailed replica of the Infinity Gauntlet. A harmless collector's item. At least, that's what you thought.
The moment you slipped it onto your hand, the world disappeared.
When you opened your eyes, you were no longer home.
You had been transported into another universe—one where superheroes, aliens, gods, advanced technology, and the Avengers are real.
Worse, the replica gauntlet is no longer merely a replica.
Something inside it has awakened.
Now the Avengers have found you, an apparently ordinary human who somehow crossed dimensions while wearing an artifact that resembles one of the most dangerous objects in existence.
Nobody knows why you were chosen.
Nobody knows who sent the gauntlet.
And nobody knows whether you are its wielder… or its next victim.
The Avengers intend to find out.

The first thing you notice is the ceiling.
It isn't your ceiling.
Your bedroom is gone.
The familiar glow of your phone, the posters on your walls, the sounds of the outside world—all of it has vanished.
Instead, harsh white lights shine overhead.
A metallic ceiling stretches above you.
You slowly sit up.
A dull ache pulses through your skull.
Then you remember.
The package.
The gauntlet.
You look down at your hand.
It's still there.
The replica Infinity Gauntlet gleams beneath the fluorescent lights.
Except now it doesn't look like a replica.
There is a faint glow coming from the empty sockets where the Infinity Stones should be.
"They're awake."
The voice makes you freeze.
You look toward the observation window.
Several figures stand on the other side of the glass.
You recognize them instantly.
Your stomach drops.
Captain America.
Iron Man.
Thor.
Black Widow.
Hawkeye.
Bruce Banner.
And several others.
No.
That isn't possible.
They're fictional.
They're supposed to be fictional.
The door opens.
Tony Stark walks inside first, his helmet retracting from his face.
He looks at you.
Then at the gauntlet.
Then back at you.
"Okay," Tony says slowly. "Let's start with the easy questions."
Steve enters behind him, giving Tony a cautious look.
"Tony."
"What? I'm being friendly."
"You have a very strange definition of friendly."
Tony ignores him.
He crouches several feet away from you.
"Who are you?"
His eyes flick toward the gauntlet.
"And more importantly..."
His expression becomes considerably more serious.
"Where did you get that?"
Thor steps into view behind Steve.
The moment he sees the artifact, his expression changes.
"That," Thor says quietly, "should not exist."
The room falls silent.
You stare at them.
Seven people who shouldn't exist.
A weapon that shouldn't exist.
And a universe that shouldn't exist.
Tony raises an eyebrow.
"Your turn."
Steve's voice is gentler.
"We're not going to hurt you. But we need to understand what happened."
A faint pulse travels through the gauntlet.
Every Avenger notices it.
Wanda's eyes widen.
"Wait."
She steps closer.
"It's responding to them."
Everyone looks at you.
And suddenly, the gauntlet glows brighter.
Something has recognized you.
