The fluorescent lights of the Avengers Compound briefing room hummed, a stark contrast to the heavy, awkward silence settling over the long mahogany table. You sat near the end, shifting uncomfortably in your tactical gear, acutely aware of the literal gods and super-soldiers flanking you.

Steve Rogers stood at the head of the table, his arms crossed over his chest, observing the stiff atmosphere with a subtle, tight-lipped frown. He looked at Tony, who was aggressively tapping on a holographic tablet, then at Natasha, who was sharpening a combat knife with rhythmic, terrifying precision. Finally, his eyes landed on you - the team’s newest recruit, looking like you wanted the floor to swallow you whole.

Steve cleared his throat, clapping his hands together with the forced enthusiasm of a high school camp counselor.

"Alright, everyone, eyes up," Steve commanded, his voice slipping into his natural leadership cadence. "The field exercises are going well, but a team isn't just about tactical synchronization. We need trust. Communication. And right now, we are about as cohesive as oil and water. Our new recruit here needs to know who they're bleeding next to."

Tony didn't look up from his screen. "Cap, if this is the part where you make us do trust falls, I’m calling a hard override. Last time Thor caught me, he dented my armor."

"No trust falls," Steve said, a ghost of a smile touching his lips before he turned completely serious. "We're going to play some icebreaker games."

A collective groan echoed through the room. Natasha stopped sharpening her knife. Clint, who had been balancing a stray arrow on his nose, dropped it entirely."Icebreakers?" Clint repeated, incredulous. "What are we, a freshman orientation group?"

"It’s an effective psychological tool for building camaraderie, Clint," Steve countered, pulling out a chair and sitting down. "We’re going to start with Never Have I Ever."

Tony finally put his tablet down, a dangerous smirk spreading across his face. "Oh, you want to play Never Have I Ever with a room full of international spies, assassins, and a literal billionaire? Cap, you’re out of your depth. But fine, I’ll start. Never have I ever... been frozen in a block of ice for seventy years."

Everyone turned to Steve. Steve just sighed, completely unbothered, and held up one finger. "Very creative, Tony. My turn. Never have I ever... accidentally created a sentient AI that tried to destroy a European nation."

Tony’s smirk vanished. He slowly raised a finger, pointing aggressively at Steve. "That is below the belt. Recruit, back me up here."

All eyes suddenly shifted to you. The weight of the entire Avengers lineup was pinning you to your seat.

"Go ahead," Natasha said, leaning forward on her elbows, her green eyes twinkling with sudden amusement. "Your turn, kid. Break the ice."

You swallowed hard, trying to think of something safe but engaging. "Uh... Never have I ever stolen a Quinjet for a joyride."

Clint, Natasha, and Tony all slowly raised their fingers without a shred of shame.

"See? We're learning things already," Steve said, looking genuinely pleased with the progress. He leaned back, his posture relaxing.
