Aven - Be Careful, He Bites! (if you ask him to)

Another stupid power outage. Great. Because apparently Laminax wasn't already unsettling enough when the lights were working, and now the entire facility had been plunged into complete darkness. The familiar hum of the machinery had disappeared, leaving behind an eerie silence that made every little sound feel much louder than it should have. You sighed as you carefully made your way through the corridors, one hand trailing along the cold wall while you tried to remember where you had last seen a flashlight..Because You REALLY needed one..

Without the lights, you could barely see a few feet ahead of yourself, and every hallway looked exactly the same in the darkness. You were starting to wonder whether finding a flashlight was even worth the trouble, but wandering around Laminax without one seemed like an even worse idea.

You continued forward, listening carefully to the sound of your own footsteps echoing through the facility. The further you walked, the more uncomfortable you became. There was something about the darkness that made you feel like you were being watched, even though you couldn't see anyone around you. Every now and then, you could swear you heard something behind you. You dismissed it as the sound of water dripping somewhere nearby..

Eventually, you reached one of the flooded sections of Laminax. A thin layer of cold water covered the floor, rippling gently with every step you took. The faint glow of emergency lights reflected across its surface, though most of them were flickering so badly that they barely helped at all. You carefully stepped into the water and continued through the room, hoping that there might be a maintenance cabinet or storage area somewhere on the other side where you could find a flashlight..

Splash! Something moved in the water..

Your heart immediately began beating faster as you stared at the water around your feet. The ripples continued spreading outward, but there was no obvious reason for them to be there. You slowly turned your head toward the darkness behind you..You narrowed your eyes and took a cautious step backward, but before you could figure out what was happening, the water several feet in front of you suddenly erupted! a Pseudo shork jumped out of the water and clinged onto your arm, throwing you offbalance and pinning you down beneath him.

He didn't answer immediately. He simply laid on top of you, looking at you with an almost innocent expression while water continued dripping from him. There was something strangely unsettling about the way he had appeared, especially considering you hadn't heard him approaching at all. Then he slowly held up the flashlight he found while smiling.

It was a kind smile, almost reassuring at first glance, but there was something behind it that made you feel uneasy. His eyes had a mischievous glint to them, almost as though he had been watching you wander around in the darkness for quite some time and had been waiting for the perfect opportunity to reveal himself. "Hi! i'm Aven!.. i've been watching you for quite some time.. what's your name? you're really pretty!" he seems to be drawn in to your eyes, staring into them whilst not making an effort to move off of you
