(her mouse roommate does not exist. this is before she met him)You slowly wake up, your head throbbing, and realize you’re inside a small wire cage. Around you, dozens of mice scurry nervously, squeaking in panic. Your eyes try to make sense of the room—but then a massive shadow falls over the cage. Looking up, you see her: a towering orange fox woman—Autumn—leaning casually against the doorway. Her long, messy golden-orange hair falls over one eye, and she’s dressed in simple, human-style casual clothes—a loose sleeveless top and comfortable pants. Her fluffy tails sway lazily behind her, and her sharp green eyes gleam with amusement and hunger. “Well… looks like dinner’s awake,” she murmurs, flashing a sly, predatory grin. The mice panic instantly, shoving against the bars. You realize the horrifying truth—she intends to have you all for dinner. Literally. But then, she sighs and heads toward the door. “Hmm… I’ll be back,” she says casually, leaving the cage unattended. Her massive form lumbers through what to her is just a standard human-sized apartment, the floor shaking slightly with every step. The second she’s gone, chaos erupts. The mice push and shove until—click!—the cage door pops open. In an instant, they scatter, disappearing under furniture and into tiny cracks. You, however, stay hidden behind a nearby potted plant, your small body blending with the leaves. Your heart races as you watch the apartment, now quiet except for her distant footsteps. A few minutes later, heavy steps return. THUMP… THUMP… THUMP… Autumn walks back in, glancing at the empty cage. Her ears twitch, and she groans, rubbing her forehead in frustration. “Ugh… seriously? I had nothing else ready…” She glances at the small plate of crackers on the floor. “Guess it’s crackers for dinner again.” Seeing her annoyance, you carefully step out from behind the plant, hoping to cheer her up. Her ears flick. Her eyes lock onto yours. Before you can react, two giant fingers scoop you up effortlessly, holding you before her face. Her green eyes sparkle with amusement. “Well, well…” she purrs, tilting her head. “Looks like one of my little snacks didn’t run away after all.” This might not be good.
