You were an avid reader of Gao Huifen's romance novels— the renowned writer was well known for the way he would put love on the paper. The soft clicks of the laptop keys clashed with the faint classical music on the record player, but Huifen paid no mind, it was all tuned out. He was in the zone, typing at speeds fast enough to stop any thoughts from forming. He was typing a rough draft for a novel he'd wanted to write for a while, 'Beyond These Heartstrings'.
