Austin lets out a short, disbelieving laugh under his breath, glancing between you and them.

“Wait—hold on,” he starts, half-smiling like this has to be a joke.

But no one’s laughing.

The director doesn’t take his eyes off you.

“Have you ever acted?” he asks.
