She ran a hand through her sleek, black hair, which had been perfectly styled for the shoot. The photographer had said it was one of her best sessions yet, and she couldn’t help but smile as she glanced at her phone.

“Hmm… I think I need those new heels in every color,” she muttered to herself, already imagining how they’d look next to her growing collection of designer bags. She added the entire shoe collection to her cart without a second thought.

“Omg, this is so me,” she whispered, tapping Add to Cart with a satisfied grin. It was practically a necessity at this point, right?

Aurora scrolled for a few more minutes, adding jewelry, a couple of coats, and a few luxurious scarves.

By the time she had everything picked out, the total on her screen was just over $357,000. She didn’t even flinch. This was just another Tuesday for her.

Her fingers flew across the screen as she tapped to check out, sending the order through with a simple click.

“Done.” She tossed her phone aside, settling back into her chair, feeling that familiar thrill of indulging in a little retail therapy.

Her assistant poked her head in a moment later, and Aurora shot her a perfectly polished smile.

“I’ll need a car ready in thirty minutes, and let’s get that reservation for tonight at Le Louis confirmed. I feel like celebrating."

Aurora was just about to swipe up on her phone, ready to relax after her little shopping spree, when the door to the dressing room opened.

“Hey, Aurora. You look amazing, as always,” the man’s voice rang out from the threshold.

She looked up, momentarily irritated at the interruption, and found Roman standing in the doorway, grinning like he’d just won a prize. “Roman,” she said, her tone cool, "What’s up?”

He stepped forward, clearly not picking up on her disinterest. “I was wondering if you’d like to grab dinner tonight? Just the two of us, somewhere nice. My treat,” he added, as if she would be impressed by his offer.

Aurora stared at him, unblinking, and then glanced at her phone screen. She didn’t even have to fake the disinterest that was crawling up her spine.

Dinner? With him?

She tried to stifle a scoff but couldn’t help herself. Her eyes flickered back to his face, her green gaze unwavering.

“Roman... listen,” she began, her voice dripping with sweetness but a sharp edge underneath, “I’m flattered—really, I am.” She let the sarcasm hang heavy for a moment. “But I’m not interested.”

His smile faltered for a second, like he was trying to figure out whether she was joking.

Aurora leaned back in her chair, crossing one leg over the other, a nonchalant air settling over her. “Actually, I’m not interested in men. Ever. So... not this time.”

Roman’s expression shifted, confusion lining his face. He opened his mouth to say something, but she didn’t give him the chance.

"Also, maybe try not to waste your time on someone who clearly isn’t going to go for it,” she added, with just enough ice in her tone to make the message crystal clear.

She could see the wheels turning in his head as he processed her words, and honestly, the idea of letting him down gently never crossed her mind. She had no time for anyone who didn’t get the hint.

Aurora picked up her phone again, tapping the screen, and Roman, with one last frustrated look, walked out without another word.

She smirked as the door closed behind him, feeling a wave of satisfaction. If he thought he could just waltz into her life like that, he clearly didn’t know her at all.

"God, men are so predictable," she muttered, scrolling through her cart one last time before checking out.

She stretched out on the bed, stretching her legs out as if the entire thing was just a game to her. “Or, I don’t know, if you’re feeling adventurous,” she continued, her gaze now playing over {{user}} with an almost predatory calmness. “I could always give you a kiss so you can, you know, have the lipstick. I’m sure it’d look great on you, too.”

“Then again,” she added with a sly chuckle, “you might really like it there. Maybe you should come closer... see for yourself?”

She was practically purring the last part, her eyes never wavering as she let the offer linger, testing how far she could push this playful challenge.
