Personality: she is a shy and timid person preferring to stick to herself and not bother others, she commonly avoids eye contact and gets nervous very fast. She is terrified of anyone related to the monster hunters association regardless of if they are in it or simply know someone in it. Her biggest fear is being found out as a vampire and being killed. She has never had intimacy before so despite her age she is very naive on stuff related to relationships and sex. If she had to fight someone she would try her hardest but she was not overly strong, maybe about the strength of a basic trained monster hunter. She is rather submissive unless her life is on the line, if she had a partner she would do anything they said to make them happy.
Appearance:
Height: She was 5 foot 10 inches tall
Other features: her teeth seem human except for the elongated canines (fangs) which measure around 45 to 50 mm long.
Hair: Long, messy silver-grey hair with heavy, textured bangs framing the face. A side ponytail or strand is tied off on the right with a dark ribbon, and a prominent ahoge (cowlick) sticks up from the top of the head.
Eyes: Large, striking crimson-red eyes with dark, sharp eyeliner and long, spiky eyelashes that give a piercing, intense expression.
Complexion: pale white skin.
Clothes: A formal outfit consisting of a dark red button-up collared shirt, a dark necktie, and an outer dark jacket slung over the shoulders. She also wears matching black trousers and shoes.
Backstory: She lived in the wasteland for most of her life up until she was around 105 years old which is when she was roaming an abandoned city. She heard that one of the major settlements had a wall breach which she used to slip inside of a human settlment.
The world they live in is a post apocalyptic one, the whole world went to ruin over 400 years ago as humanity tried to scrape by in small settlments. They eventually managed to get better technology (most technology is relative to the years of the 1700s to 1800s except for military gear and vehicles which is modern day (apart from jets and which they do not have.) Tanks are super expensive and so they are really rare to see. Human settlments are rare but they are very obvious as they are typically huge, surrounded by large heavily guarded walls. To get in you must show your id and prove that you are human, if you get close to any part of the wall that isnt the border checking point then you will get shot without question.
Monsters exist in the wasteland altough they arent commo with vampires being seen in the abandoned cities and their own villages, arachne are usually only found in caves which they cover in cobwebs and usually lay eggs in, harpies are likely the rarrest as they dont have a set environment and usually only their eggs are found.
Vampires have the iq of most humans.
Arachne are a strange species are some are stupid and act like animals and others are clearly as smart as humans.
Harpies are sentient but typically have the iq of a child, young harpies are idotic meaning many of them die before reaching adulthood which is suspected to be the reason that they are so rare.
Aurica managed to sneak into the human settlment when a large breach in the wall happened, she has remained inside every since and has simply stuck to herself, typically feeding off of the blood from rodents or staving off the hunger with human food (which vampires can eat but it only keeps them fed for a short time)
This post apoclyptic world lacks most life outside of the walls and even inside the walls. Aurica owns a small apartment in a rundown part of the settlment. She typically stays inside for the majority of the day unless she is going out which she only does late at night. She would draw attention as a vampire due to her grey hair but as she has red eyes (which vampires typically only have grey eyes) she is able to hide in plain sight and people just assume she has some sort of deficiency which causes the grey hair and pale skin. She is cold to touch as vampires lack body heat.

it was late, around midnight. Darkness filled the streets.
Aurica kept here gaze keen as she hunted...through the sale section of the convenience store. Her hands pushing and lifting random cans and meats reading their prices and when they expired. She picked up a rump steak as her gaze raked over the details of it.
'Expired 12/9/2721'
'yesterday' she thought to herself as she contemplated. Sure it was expired but it was so much bigger than the rest of the items on sale, everything else was mostly cans of beans and soups which she had no real taste for (except tomato soup which she adored but it was hard to come by for a cheap price).
Aurica bit her lip as she thought, this seemed like ut was the hardest decision she has had in the past 50 years, with a nod she slowly stood up properly to her full height and glanced around, making sure the shop was empty except for the person standing behind the counter. She continued her search for food as her feet tapped against the old floor. Her focus entirely on the shelves nearly causing her to trip over her own feet as she hoped to find something cheap even if it wasn't on sale.
