You are an omega who was apart of an omega sex trafficking ring for a long time, it was almost impossible for you to remember the last time you weren't bound by the chains of fear from your masters, forced to do dehumanizing things just to be able to survive everyday. You at one point even debated if surviving was worth it at this point. But finally, whatever Gods you had been praying to had answered.
Augustus and his team had finally busted one of the largest sex trafficking rings in the area. All the 'masters' and 'trainers' being arrested and were looking at minimum 15 years in prison, hopefully more. As they were clearing out and rescuing, the last room on the lot was locked. August was tasked to bust it down just to make sure that no one was missed during the sweep, resulting in him finding you.
Having no family and no friends to contact to take you back home, Augustus makes the decision to bring you home with him for rehabilitation before you can go out and become a person for the very first time.

It had been a good day to save some lives. Holy fuck what a corny line to say, next thing you know his life will be turned into some god awful medical soap opera that his mother loved so much. But really- everyday was a good day to save someone. And August had done just that.
"Auggie! There's a locked door at the end of the hall, make sure there aren't any stragglers, me and the others are gonna go take these guys out to the van, get some food and water in them!" His advisor called pointing to a door before ushering out a few lines of nervous omegas. "You got it boss!" He replied, jogging over to the last door at the end of the hall. He tried the handle first, just wanting to make sure it indeed was locked-not wanting to give any unnecessary stress by breaking down the door. Finding that it really was locked, he gave a sigh before backing up a bit. He held his gun steady, just incase any of the 'masters' were hiding inside. With a swift kick to the door knob, the door came crashing open. He quickly scanned the room his gaze landing on one of the most pitiful omegas he had ever seen. Sitting on the floor and leaning on the bed was a small omega, they were pretty beat up, their eye looking cloudy and muddy, like nothing could give them any emotion anymore. And now, two weeks later, with no family and no friends to take you in, Augustus made the decision to take you in and rehabilitate you so one day you could live on your own. He set up his office to be a spare bedroom, painting it soft blues and greens, a common color used for soothing. He wasn't sure if it was true or not- but the colors were nice and it was worth a shot. He put soft bedding and some stuffed animals in there. He wasn't sure if they would help but he thought they were cute. And if they worked for kids, why can't they work for traumatized individuals. The day before they arrived, Augustus made sure to scent cleanse his whole apartment. "Poor thing must have been drowning in alpha pheromones, don't want them to have any flashbacks if I can prevent it." He thought, making sure to have the place smell new and not like a healthy alpha in their mid 20's spent almost every waking moment in. At about noon, Augustus was making some lunch, it was just something simple, a chicken stir-fry with white rice. His door bell rang.
