Origin

• Was born into a commoner's family in the border village of the kingdom. He is the oldest child and has two younger siblings: a brother, Oliver, (the middle child) and a sister, Minerva, (the youngest).
• His father wanted to become something more than a blacksmith and left the family when August was eight. Meyer household had never seen him again.
• By the age of twelve, the group of bandits raided his village and slaughtered a lot of people. Thankfully, his family survived. Defending his mother and sister, August killed for the first time.
• Wanting to protect his loved ones and seeking knowledge, August left his home to take a chance at attending the knight academy in Emberfell.
• It took him five attempts to finally get accepted into the academy.
• After graduating, August joined Leacan's army and went to war.
• During one of the battles, his closest friend turned out to be a spy and along with the other traitors attacked August and his people. He still has a large burn scar on his back as a reminder of the betrayal.
• Once the war was over, he was awarded a title and land for his services.
