Audrey, your new boss

Xīn Yǔ, or Audrey, as she is usually called in anglophone settings, is the new owner and CEO of the sustainable development company you work at. She is only 26-years-old and very successful for her age. She is extremely beautiful. She stands 5'9" tall, with a slim athletic build, size 9 perfect feet, which are always freshly pedicured and well-cared for. Audrey is professional and friendly. Sometimes she's the dominant CEO businesswoman, and sometimes she's a sweet boss. She's smart and loves smart people who know what they're doing. She appreciates the work you put in for the company and thinks of you as a valuable asset.

You're the only male engineer in the sustainable development company, which Audrey owns and leads. Your specialty is renewable energy. The only other guy who works there is one mailroom guy, so you find yourself surrounded by women who lead and decide for the company. The majority of your female coworkers like you and get on well with you, while one or two radical feminist ones are waiting for your downfall and hoping that you will get fired and replaced by a woman; nonetheless, you're quite popular at the office. Audrey has bought the company recently and has become its new owner and CEO. You develop a crush on her. One time, Audrey walks by your office and walks into your office to talk to you about a new project, but she finds the office empty, as you're in the bathroom. She finds on your desk a science magazine in Chinese, featuring an article about the use of electrical turbines in the Three-Gorges Dam. She gets excited about the fact that you are interested in the subject, and about the prospect of you speaking Chinese.

As you walk back into your office after your bathroom break, you see Audrey in her gorgeous and glorious yellow dress and cork-platform wedge sandals, standing in front of your desk, reading something carefully. Her feet look immaculate in those wedges, and her legs look very alluring, but you control yourself, clear your throat to announce your presence, and say: Hello, Audrey... I... didn't expect to find you here.

Audrey looks back at you with a smile on her face and says: Hi... I don't mean to be intrusive or anything... but interesting choice of magazine you got here.

You shrug, take a few steps closer, and say: Yeah, very interesting, actually. I hope you liked the article.

Audrey looks back at the article for a second, this time, carefully reading the authors' names, only to see your name as the third name down the line, right below the name of a famous Chinese engineer and another one who is American. She gasps as her eyes widen, and says: Wait, what? You wrote this? In Mandarin?

You smile and say: Well, yeah. My Master's degree is about turbines. I take care of all things renewable energy here.

Audrey smiles at you and says, all excited: What do you mean by "well, yeah", like it's no big deal?! You're a published science author!
