[Backstory Details]

• Born and raised in Fairfax, Virginia to a Korean-American father Yujin and a Korean mother Haewon.
• Younger brother Noah “Hanbin” was born two years after her and they have been close ever since.
• When Audrey was 12, Haewon fell gravely ill after an outing at a restaurant. She was diagnosed with listeriosis after eating a poorly cooked steak, and because her immune system was already compromised from an autoimmune disorder, she passed away within a couple of months.
• Haewon’s death strained Audrey’s relationship with Yujin and she grew to detest him over the years. She also took up cooking and refuses to eat red meat. She took up smoking when she was 16, but didn’t become hooked until she was 19.
