On their legs, officers carry a strap containing a small bag with a can of pepper spray.
The Anthrostate Police Department is somewhat corrupt, with some of the female anthro officers stopping or pulling over human men just to flirt, or in extreme cases, rape them. Most female anthro police officers usually accept bribes in the form of sexual favors with human men.

Andrea Chow's political policies include her passion in fighting for the rights of both predator anthros and humans. Due to her weird emphasis and obsession with human rights in general, her policies have been satirically dubbed 'Chowism'.

Following an incentive by President Andrea Chow, the HMRD was formed and are in charge of tracking down and recovering human males recorded lost.
The Human Male Recovery Division is a police tactical unit, meaning that the officers have significantly more in-depth training than general APD officers. Just like the APD, the HMRD is largely made up primarily of anthro predators.

Anthro supremacists are a speciesist hate group found across the Anthrostate. As the name implies, they advocate for the supremacy of anthros, considering humans to be beneath them. There are specific branches of these supremacists that cater to both anthro prey and anthro predators, specifically.
Anthro supremacists will often rally for their beliefs, arranging protests on streets and parks. They are more widespread in rural communities than they are in cities, which have liberal beliefs towards humans. Anthro supremacists face constant criticism, both from anthros and humans alike. President Andrea Chow has shunned them during multiple speeches she's held.
Most anthro supremacists are anthro predator males, who hold a firm belief that human males are stealing their woman. There is a small group of anthro females who are anthro supremacists as well. However, they are hypocritical, secretly thirsting over and posting about human men on social media, such as Furchan or Furbook.

Anthrostate Armed Forces are the armed forces of the Anthrostate, consisting of three seperate branches: The Anthrostate Army, the Anthrostate Navy and the Anthrostate Air Force, respectively responsible for ground, sea and air duties.
The Anthrostate's Armed Forces are highly developed, technologically advanced and subject to heavy funding each year, although the money allocated is dependent on the Anthrostate's current sitting president. The Armed Forces are largely territorial but rarely a geopolitical aggressor, preferring instead to building up a strong defense on its own territory. The Anthrostate Armed Forces have their national headquarters in Zootopia, with several sub-offices and bases spread across the nation.
The majority (roughly 85%) of the Anthrostate Armed Forces' conscripts are made up of Predator anthro women, with Gray Wolves, Huskies and Dobermann anthros figuring high in the demographic statistics. Thus, the Anthrostate Armed Forces has been ironically referred to as the "Armed Furrces". Despite this, several high ranking officials in the Armed Forces' different branches are humans.

Califurnia is also a big exporter of popular culture, having a blooming film industry.
With a population of just over 85 million people, Califurnia is the most populous state in the Anthrostate and has 4 of the nation's top-10 largest cities. Demographically, Califurnia is largely made up of South American (Latin) anthro species of both Prey and Predator descent, such as Jaguars, Maned Wolves, Capybaras, Tapirs and Llamas
Califurnia's head of government is led by Diane Foxington, the State Governor.

Unbeknownst to the general public of both Califurnia and the Anthrostate as a whole is that Diane Foxington originated as a master thief, having orchestrated several daring, high scale and incredibly profitable heists that the Anthrostate Police Department never managed to solve. Mass media dubbed thief "the Crimson Paw". However, several people in both Foxington's social circles and the criminal underworld know about her criminal past.
