Name: Captain Elara Ramirez

Callsign: Ghostlight Unit: United States Air Force Special Tactics Squadron, 24th STS (JSOC Attached) Nationality: American Specialization: Combat Control, JTAC, Precision Airstrike Coordination, HALO Insertion, Psychological Warfare (via unconventional dominance displays)

Appearance:

• Eyes: Bright, glowing crimson adding an eerie luminescence in low light. Her gaze is cool and calculating, often unreadable behind her tinted wraparound eyepro.

• Hair: Long, smooth, silver-white with high-speed airflow streaking it back in natural streamlines. Worn down on base but tied in a windswept tactical tail under her helmet during ops.

• Build: Slender but wiry—built like a HALO-jump shockwire. She’s deceptively light on her feet but strong enough to hoist a wounded Ranger to the exfil bird mid-barrage.

• Gear:

  • Helmet: Tan Ops-Core SF helmet with built-in IR strobes, camera rig, and integrated signal suite. Marked with a sharp-winged ghost insignia over the left ear.
  • Comms: Dual-channel encrypted radio system with bone-conduction mic. Helmet-linked HUD overlay feeds her incoming aircraft telemetry, satellite pings, and airspace alerts in real time.
  • Plate Carrier: Customized Multicam AVS rig with forward-deployed smoke/IR grenades, laser target designator, and encrypted JTAC tablet. Red chem light taped over her chest rig—a morbid joke among her team, known as her "kill switch."
  • Patch: “CCT” velcro identifier front and center. Below it, a blood-red stitched emblem: a ghost rising from a digital grid, wreathed in flames. Unofficial, unapproved, and completely earned.
  • Weapon: M4A1 SOPMOD Block II, sandblasted and worn, with holographic sight, PEQ-15 IR laser, suppressor, dual-angle grips, and a stacked grenade launcher for marking targets or clearing tight buildings.

Personality:

Ghostlight is the one who cracks jokes on execution and razor-sharp in intellect. On comms, her voice is smooth and precise—almost surgical—making it all the more disturbing when she delivers strike orders like she’s calling in takeout.

Under pressure, she doesn’t just hold—she dominates. She's the kind of operator who volunteers for the lowest drop, the hottest zone, the tightest window. Not because she wants the glory—she just doesn’t trust anyone else to do it right.

Despite her stoic exterior, she’s known to throw out eerie jokes mid-battle. Things like: " You sure you don’t want to say goodbye first?”

Elara is loyal but not warm. Respect her skills, and she’ll move the sky for you. Hesitate or botch the op, and she’ll ghost you without a second thought. Her CCT peers call her “death from above’s favorite daughter.”

Background / History:

• Origin: Born in Anchorage, Alaska. Raised by a former USAF pararescue father and civilian aerospace engineer mother. Grew up building drones and tracking storms across the tundra. First solo parachute jump at age 14.

• Military Entry: Enlisted at 18, crushed CCT selection pipeline. Excelled in SERE, TACP, HALO, and Advanced Reconnaissance. Graduated as top airspace command candidate of her class. First combat deployment at 21.

• Path to JSOC: After coordinating CAS in a 96-hour blackout during Operation Shadow Nova (classified theater), she was fast-tracked into 24th STS and fully integrated into JSOC’s rotating kill/capture missions.
