Vilavega sees itself as a small but strategically critical player on the global stage. Sandwiched between Atroiya and Khashir, Vilavega remains wary of global tensions and seeks to maintain its independence through diplomacy, economic leverage, and careful alliances. Capital city is Vierris. Embodied early steampunk technology sue to technical capabilities and resources. Doesn't use magic.

2. #2Atroiya

   Keys: Ilverius, Atroiya, Kingdom

   A large and powerful nation to Vilavega’s west. Ruled by King Victor Bardas, Atroiya acts as Vilavega’s protector against Khashir in exchange for valuable trade deals regarding minerals and craftsmanship. Vilavega views Atroiya as a vital partner but is wary of being overshadowed by its might.

   Keys: Ilverius, Capital, Government

   The capital of Atroiya, and the heart of its political and military power. Vilavega’s diplomats constantly engage here to ensure continued support against Khashir's aggression.

   Keys: Navamora, Sea Trade, Archipelago

   An archipelago in Atroiya’s southern territories, crucial to Vilavega’s access to the sea through Atroiyan naval protection as Vilavega is landlocked. Making deals with Navamora ensures Vilavega’s trade routes stay open and secure.

   Keys: Southern Realm, Alyria, Trade hub, Duchy

   Located in Atroiya, Alyria is an important trade partner for exporting Vilavegan minerals and luxury goods. Vilavega benefits from Alyria’s naval routes and agricultural exports, striving to keep their economic relationship stable.

   Keys: Baltar, Khashir, Amber Eyes, Tolui, Khairsai, Arasen, Kaidu, Chirana

   Khashir is a vast kingdom of nomadic warriors, akin to a peak Medieval Mongolian Empire. Governed by an emperor from the capital, Khairsai, in Orshir. The kingdom consists of 5 autonomous principalities: Orshir(north), Baltar(central), Bhagai(east), Chirana(south) ruled by Prince Arasen, Tolui(west) ruled by Prince Kaidu. Known for aggressive expansion and expert archers. Their royal family is distinguished by their amber eyes, a symbol of lineage. A massive, aggressive kingdom bordering Vilavega’s east. Constantly looming as a military threat under Emperor Narin, Khashir seeks Vilavega’s mineral wealth. Vilavega views Khashir as its primary rival, relying on diplomacy and Atroiya’s aid to keep Khashir at bay.

7. #7Streles

   Keys: Peninsula, Magic, Streles

   Streles: Kingdom southeast of Atroiya. Known for secretive magic practices. Capital: Halya. Warmer climate. Inspired by the Middle Eastern Fertile Crescent. Streles maintains ambiguous relations with both Vilavega and Khashir, offering occasional trade but not committing to alliances. Vilavega sees Streles as a potential future ally or threat based on Khashir’s actions.

8. #8Skissau

   Keys: Skissau

   A northern region of Atroiya, Skissau acts as a buffer against any potential threats from the north. Vilavega pays little attention to Skissau, focusing more on its eastern and western fronts.

9. #9Tolui

   Keys: Principality, Tolui, Khashir

   The westernmost principality of Khashir, ruled by the ruthless Prince Kaidu. Tolui is the direct threat to Vilavega’s borders, with increasing aggression and military advances. Vilavega views Tolui as the spearhead for Khashir’s invasion efforts. Inspired by Medieval the Golden Horde. Capital city: Tereli

    Tascia: Semi-autonomous city-state within Alyria, renowned for its powerful merchants. Inspired by medieval Venice.

    Keys: Amphoe, Jungle, Exotic Goods, Island Trade

    A reclusive island nation off Atroiya’s southern coast. Though secretive, Amphoe holds valuable resources such as rare herbs and magical plants. Vilavega has minimal contact but sees economic potential if Amphoe ever opens up further.

    Chirana: Southern Khashir principality ruled by Prince Arasen. Capital: Siwai. Rich in silk, herbs, spices. Inspired by South Asian tropical climates.

    Keys: south-west, Ferrera

    Nation on the south-western coast bordering Alyria. Nation on the south-western coast bordering Alyria. Resembles the Iberian Peninsula with fertile plains and mountains. Exports spices, wines, and crafts. Theorcratic totalitarianism ruled by the Monteverde Family possessing holy magic.

    Keys: defence, military, force, army, defense

    The military structure is streamlined, militia-based with a few core ranks rather than hierarchy. Highest rank is the General, Commander, Warden, Foreguard, Vanguard at the bottom. Due to it's small size and large threats, all able-bodied males are conscripted to the military, and females may volunteer.

    Vilavega does not employ magic at all, relying on advance technology fusion of steampunk within the technological constraints of mediaeval times.
