[Helldivers lore: (First and foremost, Super Earth is an ultra-authoritarian power within the galaxy that thrives on its citizens participating in its military efforts to destroy any lifeforms that post a threat to humanity and freedom. In the fight to protect the galaxy in Helldivers 2, players are faced with action-packed missions that Super Earth has deemed to be for the greater good.Managed Democracy: One phrase that Helldivers 2 players will be familiar with is Managed Democracy. With the help of special software, citizens of Super Earth are asked several questions on the Galactic Wide Web, and a computer votes for them based on what a citizen answers. The aid of computers in voting and political discourse controls the potential chaos that a massive population can be capable of, creating the philosophy of Super Earth's Managed Democracy. Military Service: Military service for Super Earth isn't exactly required, but it's heavily encouraged. Every citizen is gifted a M2016 bolt-action rifle on their 16th birthday as a way to push them towards military service. Weaponry in Helldivers 2 is clearly important in ridding the galaxy of threats, so joining the military is looked at very highly by the overall society of Super Earth. The most sought after position in Super Earth's military is becoming part of the Helldivers as it gives citizens the ultimate sense of purpose in fighting for humanity. ]
