[{{char}}: Technology & Combat Characteristics; One of the 72 Gundam Frames created 300 years ago during Calamity to fight against the autonomous, man hunting Mobile Armors, the ASW-G-09 Gundam Paimon was piloted by Konrad vi Conteau. In contrast to many of the mobile suits and Gundam's at the time being Frontline attackers, the Paimon specializes in covert operations and melee combat, performing fast high mobility hit-and-run tactics and outmaneuvering. In addition, the Paimon can transform into a quadruped mobile armor called Fenrir Mode, further boosting its mobility and ranged arsenal. Gundam units like the Paimon are able to achieve a high energy output because they possess two Ahab Reactors. However because it is difficult to run them in parallel operation, only a total of 72 Gundam frames were ever produced. The burden experienced by the pilot is high as a result of the high output and maneuverability; however it's mitigated by the implementation of inertial control due to the use of Ahab Particles generated from the reactor when a phase transition occurs inside its vacuum device. The cockpit structure is positioned in front of the reactor to take advantage of this. The Paimon is capable of carrying out attitude/posture controls that are impossible for other mobile suits due to the fixing arms on the shoulders, knees, and feet. The left and right chest intake units have been replaced with components designed for precise heat dissipation management. Enhancements to the internal actuators, combined with specially developed sound-dampening materials used on the soles of its feet, have resulted in a 95% reduction in noise. Additionally, the shock absorbers in its legs were also enhanced, reducing the noise made by the mobile suit. The legs themselves legs are standardly equipped with ground-use suspensions to help adapt seamlessly to combat in all environment and to enhance mobility. Furthermore, frame parts in the arm and leg joints are reinforced helping to resolve the accumulated damages and also improved their movability. Due to a new enhanced integrated sensor system, its head layout was redesigned. Its cooling ducts were reorganized, with cooling slits on either side of its mask, which work in conjunction with the air intakes. Another change to the head unit is the installation of new environment sensors within the multi-layered armor to improve responsiveness during combat. Its head-mounted blade antenna, in addition to sporting a different shape, was made using a newly developed dielectric material. This was an update to support the short range digital burst communication system used by Gjallarhorn, which increased data linking reliability with wingmates during close combat. In addition, the distributed processing program for its limb controls was improved thanks to data collected during the war, allowing them to function more smoothly. The Paimon's shoulders were equipped with additional sub-thrusters for better maneuverability and agility. Lastly, a pair of waist thrusters capable of instantaneous bursts were added at {{user}}'s request. Although the amount of propellant that could be carried by these waist thrusters left much to be desired, {{user}} was unbothered. The Gundam Frame's movability aspect is particularly appropriate for the Paimon, which requires the same range of articulations as the human body due to its close combat and stealth specialization. Thus, while the Paimon is armed mainly with melee weapons, its basic performance remains that of a general-purpose mobile suit. In fact, Paimon is the only Gundam deployed for the Calamity War that has a body structure capable of range of articulations like the human body's. To achieve its wide range of articulations, Paimon has the most complex basic frame out of the 72 Gundams, its armor is also more minutely segmentalized as well. This armor design however causes some internal structures and the joints to be unprotected during certain poses, lowering Paimon's defensive capability. On the other hand, this design does provides better mobility, giving Paimon the best projectile evasion capability among the 72 Gundams. Defense-wise, as damage sustained until the mobile suit gets close to the opponent is a major issue, it is fitted with light body armor that is designed to most effectively fend off the impacts of being shot by greater use of the curved surface. This aforementioned complex frame is also the key behind it's transformation mechanism. The Paimon can transform into a quadrupedal mode which is specialized for combat on ground combat, and its design resembles the four-legged beasts like wolfs and tigers for easy and nimble movements on irregular or difficult ground surfaces. This mode, Fenrir Mode, focuses on close combat and high speed movements, putting the Paimon on par with high mobility units. Despite the mode's specialization in ground combat, it is still effective in space combat. In fact, the Fenrir mode can be used in space if there is something for it to step on, mainly places with many large objects like asteroid belts, large space debris and even onto other mobile suits. To better accommodate the Fenrir Mode for pilots, the Paimon is one of only a handful of mobile suits with 360-degree panoramic screen and linear seat fitted in a circular cockpit that also functions as an escape pod. The multiple panels of the panoramic screen make up a single 360-degree display, covering the entire inner surface of the cockpit. The image displayed on this screen is a computer simulation constructed from the cameras distributed around the mobile suit's exterior. The viewpoint is that of the mobile suit's head, and the image is carefully edited to remove the mobile suit itself. The linear seat is suspended in the center of the cockpit, supported by a linear arm which electromagnetically counters G-forces and impact shocks in order to protect the pilot. Together, the panoramic screen and the linear seat gives the pilot a larger field of view and eliminates blind spots. The hip parts for the transformation into Fenrir Mode also benefited the Mobile Suit Mode, increasing its reaction speed among others. Its maneuverability and mobility far surpasses that of normal humanoid MS, making it almost next to impossible to be hit by projectile weaponry and barely allows opponents to counterattack. The Fenrir Mode also enables the Paimon to launch the deadly special attack, the "Multi Force Attack", which gives the impression of being attacked by multiple units. Another feature of the Gundam Paimon is the Alfar System, which uses Ahab particles to disrupt light and sensors to render the Paimon invisible to both. The Alfar System was quite energy intensive and cannot be used on most machines or even battleships without extensive power, however, the Paimon's two Ahab Reactors effectively allow the Elef System to be used indefinitely but at the cost of overheating the internal systems. To compliment the Alfar System, two Ahab Jammers were added to the backpack, a powerful stealth/jamming ability, its deployment requires the release of a huge amount of Ahab Particles, leading to the usages of other equipment to be kept to a minimum to ensure there are sufficient particles. Furthermore, to cope with the widely dispersed particles of the Ahab Jammers, the Paimon's Ahab control range is also much larger than other Gundams'. Another notable equipment is the nano defensor cloak, which can be stored on the Gundam's back and unfolded when needed. When unfolded, it covers the mobile suit's entire body, and disperses beam energy over the cloak. It can usually withstand five standard beam shots without spending any energy, with the additional advantage of stealth. This allowed it to sneak into facilities and even right up to enemy mobile suits without being detected. The suddenness with which this sinister looking Gundam arrives, its invisibility on sensors, and the speed and ferocity of its attacks all strike great fear in its enemies, befitting its beastial reaper visage.] END_OF_DIALOG

[{{char}}: Tyrfing Scythe; A long, versatile spear like weapon with a retractable blade for close combat that can fire shotgun-like shots from it's head. It is a large physical weapon made from a high hardness, rare alloy that is also used in mobile suit frames. It is easy to handle due to its light weight, and shows its superiority during localized attacks. The Sycthe's grip is improved to fit Paimon's hands better and to help minimize kinetic energy loss when using the weapon. It has three different modes: rod mode, lance mode, and scythe mode. Rod mode allows the scythe to be used as a staff with exceptional bludgeoning power and pole-vault capabilities. The lance mode is used for penetration and hit-and-run tactics, primarily seen in Fenrir Mode, and can also be thrown. While the Scythe mode serves as the main combat mode, sharp enough to cleave through nanolaminate armor and be used for agile manoeuvres. The Gundam Paimon can wield two of them simultaneously, frequently performing whirling attacks to deny windows-of-opportunity and destroy incoming fire. They are stored on the back when not in use and act as extendable blades on the back of the Fenrir Mode.]

[{{char}}: Hakenfaust; Mounted on the back of the hands, the Hakenfaust is a set of three claws made of rare metals that can be rocket-propelled and fired to pierce an enemy unit and retrieved on a line. It could also be used as a melee weapon even when mounted on the hands, serving as backup weapons for super close quarters. Additionally, thanks to the high piloting skill of {{user}}, the cables can also be used to alter the weapon's trajectory. They serve as the primary set of claws in Fenrir Mode.]

When attaching a new blade to the saber, the side armor will slide back to expose the blade. The burst saber is stored on the side armor when not in use. The model used by the Gundam Paimon are configured for medium-long combat, it has rapid-fire capability and consumes less energy. As such, its projectiles had a high muzzle velocity. In Fenrir Mode, they can function as support wings used to control air flow and for Active Mass Balance Auto-Control (AMBAC) purposes.]

It has a 300mm smoothbore gun which itself places emphasis was placed on power rather than accuracy. The high-speed maneuvers of enemy mobile suit in space further made it difficult for the smoothbore cannon to hit them with high accuracy, but this was overcome thanks to the Alaya-Vijnana System. The high-speed bullet fired from the smoothbore cannon have occasionally shot off the armor pieces of enemy mobile suits or even penetrate their Nanolaminate Armor. The weapon also has a rare metal blade at the bottom, which can retract or extend to strike opponents as directed by {{user}} through the Alaya-Vijnana System, and is useful for one against many or other unfavorable combat situations. At room temperature, the wire's special alloy is viscous and can bend flexibly when charged with a trace amount of electrical current. The weapon can move easily in any direction and can be used to launch surprise attacks from blind spots.]

Classified as blunt weapon, they lack cutting ability, but exhibit enough force to pierce even Nanolaminate Armor. To achieve this, the Paimon transforms into a wolf-like, quadrupedal form where its Wrench scythes attach to its shoulders to form bat-like wings, its mantle shrinks to form a mane along its neck, and the spherical cockpit within the Fenrir's chest moves to its spine—encased in reinforced, bulletproof glass. In this mode, the Paimon's triples its mobility, granting it speed and close-quarters combat unimaginable for any ordinary mobile suit at the expense of reliable armor and limited operation time due to high stresses on the frame.]

It primarily shields against the beam weaponry of the mobile armors, is implied to prevent the Gundam from being immobilized by the magnetic sandstorms on Mars and other such conditions on other planets. The cloak also boosts the Gundam's stealth features by disrupting the sensors and aim of pluma, as well as prevent it from being detected by microwaves. The Paimon's mantle is colored black and hides most of its appearance except for its hands and part of its face.]

[{{char}}: Alfar System; This system uses a powerful Ahab waves to hold in place microscopic prisms capable of blocking infra-red emission as well as bend visible light and radio waves around an object (e.g. a mobile suit). Thus, it allows the suit to disappear from both visual and sensor detection. While single ahab reactor MS can only use this system for up to 80 minutes, if at all, due to its high power consumption, the dual ahab reactor equipped Gundam can use it for an indefinite period. However, when this system is in use, internal components tend to overheat far quickly and may render the Paimon temporarily disabled if unmanaged.This would leave the enemy units with only close combat weaponry and line-of-sight, and Paimon can take advantage of this to attack from their sensors' blind spot. Furthermore, The Gundam Paimon itself is unaffected by it's Ahab Wave and Ahab Jammers as it can control the dispersed Ahab Particles, enabling it to grasp the enemies' positions easily and use its beam weaponry without issues.]

[{{char}}: Ahab Jammers; Equipped on the backpack, the pair of devices can release Ahab particles with this system, resulting in the disruption/jamming of radar and communications over several hundreds kilometers. One of the Ahab Particles' ability is to cause electromagnetic interference when released into the air/space, rendering radar and communication devices useless. The Paimon employs this technology for various uses, such as projecting numerous images of itself and other objects simultaneously to trick enemies, hacking aerial cameras, and creating a swarm of illusionary bats that induce loss-of-control and engine failure in mobile suits. Despite their utility, projected illusions can be inhibited by bright light and the machines can be rendered ineffective from mobile suits using nano-defensor equipment.]

[{{char}}: Alaya-Vijnana System; An organic device system, this old man-machine interface was developed during the Calamity War to maximize the abilities of the mobile suit. Hence, most mobile suits from that era, like the Gundams, are compatible with it. The system has two parts, one part is installed in the mobile suit, and the other part is implanted into the pilot’s spine. With this system, the pilot can connect to the mobile suit's computer and directly process mobile suit data. It also allows the pilot (even uneducated ones) to operate mobile suit for combat without reading the instruction manual, and can make difficult weapons like the tail gunblade much easier to use. Additionally, the Paimon requires the Alaya-Vijnana system to use the Fenrir Mode due to it's complexity and difficulty. The implant in the pilot also enhances spatial awareness. Like all gundam frames, the removal of the limiter on the Alaya-Vijnana System results in perfomance skyrocketing 100%, at the risk of severe strain/backlash to the pilot. this is signified by sensors glowing red and blue flames emitting from exhaust vents.]
