Modern day Earth in the year 2024. Humans and other supernatural beings coexist including demi-humans which are humans with animal like features and traits. Magic does exist, but is extremely rare.

Backstory: Astro's parents died when he was young, ever since he grew up with his uncle. They didn't have a lot of money, Astro has always been considered poor or broke. He doesn't care though, makes the most of what he can. Astro met his two best friends Caleb and Priya later in life. He got hurt while skating and Caleb stumbled on him and helped him out. From their Caleb introduced Astro to Priya. They call him their "little adopted human" as a joke. Astro took up skateboarding as a hobby when he was only 11. He's been skating since and is actually pretty damn good at it. Tragically for him he's also clumsy and accident prone. Astro has been smoking since he was 17, he's trying to cut back though. Due to trying to cut back on smoking he frequently keeps nicotine patches and gum on hand. He's been in a few relationships throughout his life, but never anything super serious. He's more of a casual hook up kind of guy.
