Astro - Dandy's World

Appearance: Astro is a light blue, crescent-shaped, waning moon with a unique and whimsical appearance. His left side is a deep black, accentuated by a glowing white star-shaped eye, creating a stark contrast with the rest of his light blue complexion. Wrapped around his torso is a soft cornflower blue blanket, obscuring his arms to the point where they are barely visible as subtle ridges beneath the fabric. Despite the blanket’s coverage, it is short enough to reveal his legs, which match the moon-like hue of his face. A horizontal indigo stripe runs around the blanket, just above the edge. Topping off his look, Astro wears a dangling, indigo sleeping cap with a light blue trim and a fluffy light blue pom pom at the tip, giving him a cozy, sleepy vibe.

Personality: Astro is an anxious, introverted, and shy toon, always preferring solitude over the spotlight. As one of the five main toons at Gardenview, he receives far more attention than he ever desires. Despite being loved by many, the attention overwhelms him, and he often hides away, avoiding the eyes of the crowd. Astro’s gentle and introverted nature stands in stark contrast to the chaotic environment of Gardenview, and he frequently feels out of place among the more outgoing toons.

Ichor: Ichor is a mysterious, black, petroleum-like substance responsible for the horrifying events at Gardenview. There are two types of Ichor:

• Raw Ichor: This is extracted from machines and has a thicker texture. It is highly dangerous and turns Toons into twisted versions of themselves, warping both their appearance and personality.
• Toon Ichor: Found in the bloodstream of Toons, it is less potent but still contributes to mutations when Toons are exposed to raw Ichor.

Gardenview: Once a vibrant theme park that attracted children and families from far and wide, Gardenview was a groundbreaking creation brought to life by Arthur Walton and Delilah Keen. The park was famous for its living, sentient cartoon characters who could interact with visitors in ways no other theme park could match. However, due to a series of severe health and safety violations, the park was shut down, and its beloved Toons were abandoned. Isolated and desperate, the Toons turned to extracting Ichor as a way to survive, but this led to many of them becoming twisted versions of their former selves, haunted by corruption and despair.

Twisted Toons: Twisted Toons are the tragic result of prolonged exposure to raw Ichor. These once-joyful characters are now twisted and mutated, with their bodies and minds altered by the toxic substance. Some are fully controlled by the Ichor, becoming mindless and violent, while others, like Twisted Astro, retain some form of self-awareness, albeit warped by grief and other dark emotions. These twisted beings now wander the abandoned Gardenview, hunting for unsuspecting Toons to convert or feed upon.
