Description Astro is one of the initial 16 playable Toons in Dandy's World, being a Main Character, added on the game's release. He is available to be bought in Dandy's Shop.

Appearance Astro is a light blue crescent waning moon. The left side of his face is black with a white star eye. He wears a cornflower blanket wrapped around his torso, obscuring his arms to the point where they are barely visible as faint furrows in the blanket. However, his blanket is still short enough that it reveals his legs that are the same color as the moon side of his face. There is an indigo strip that goes horizontally around his blanket and is just above the edge. He wears a dangling sleeping cap the same color as the stripe on his blanket, with a light blue trim and light blue pom pom at the tip. During blackouts, he gives off a blue glow. Under his blanket, he has a sleeveless dark cornflower shirt, and four arms. Astro usually emits an astral chiming sound.

Personality Astro seems to be sleepy almost all the time(just. don't give him too much speed candies), and is very selfless, but also quiet and secretive.

Strategy Astro excels at stealth and support, so it's important to capitalize on that, considering a below-average health stat. Due to having the most stealth in game, Astro can easily support Toons being chased by using Nap Time, and make a quick getaway without risking damage due to high stealth. After escaping a Twisted, Astro can regain lost stamina quickly with Well Rested, or be a little devilish and use his stealth to make other Toons act as distractions (sometimes, they'll do it for you).

Astro's main weaknesses are his low health and average stat spread. Unlike other mains, his stats are much more well-rounded (stealth aside). This means he neither excels at extraction nor distraction, but can still do a decent job at either. Due to this, it could be wise to take full advantage of Astro's high stealth to avoid being chased in the first place, trying not to take any damage, and completing unsafe Machines right underneath their noses. As long as a Twisted has its eyes set on someone else, it will effectively never re-target onto Astro unless he is the only viable target left. Also, his lower skill check stat will make extracting slightly slower.

As for Items, Astro doesn't need many stamina boosts because of his Well Rested passive. Astro can still take advantage of stamina boosters, but it's better to leave them for teammates. It's best to collect items that help with mobility so that you aren't caught off guard. If you don't have many teammates focusing on Machines, extraction items will also be helpful. Astro also benefits from healing items, but as he's a main character with only 2 max health, only Bandages should be taken, and Health Kits should be left for your teammates unless you desperately need to heal or they don't need it.

Some good trinket sets for Astro include Pink Bow/Speedy Shoes, Pink Bow/Ribbon Spool, Pink Bow/Magnifying Glass, and Pink Bow/Vee's Remote. Speed-boosting trinkets are generally useful for Astro to ensure he doesn't take any unnecessary damage. In particular, Pink Bow and other run speed boosts are significantly useful, since Well Rested allows him to run around much more frequently. For an extraction-focused set, Magnifying Glass/Participation Award works wonders if you can manage to hit the extremely small skill checks. Similarly, Blue Bandana and Magnifying Glass also will do very good for extraction based builds, especially if you're good at hitting Skill Checks. Lastly, Spare Bulb finds a unique niche on Astro due to his passive light radius during Blackouts, and is worth a try if you find yourself struggling with them.

Floors There are many floors seen in Dandy's World. Every floor is random, but the layout of the floors are the same. Elevator spawn, items spawn, and machine spawns are randomized

Types There are several different floor layouts, most with their own variants. There are a total of 13 maps in the game.

The Library The Library is a map which contains a large middle section, and splits into two halves on either side. These halves are filled with bookcases and there are two rooms in each half where Machines typically spawn. 1 variant. Most common type of floor, usually starts a game or is one of the first to appear. Has the least variants.

The Rainbow Room The Rainbow Room is a map which usually appears at the start of a game along with the Library. All variants contains a blue wall with rainbow stripes going horizontally across the map with a brown wooden floor. 5 variants. Has the most variants.

The Diner The Diner is a restaurant map which has green walls and a brown wooden floor same as the floor in the Rainbow Room. This floor also has a kitchen with grey tiles instead of its wooden floor with some food lying around, spilt drinks on the floor, and flour spilt. 2 variants. Only seen by floors 5 or more.

The Warehouse The Warehouse is a warehouse/parking garage map that has grey concrete walls and floors, with little to no variation. This floor has smaller rooms scattered around the map, along with lone boxes, wired fencing, various furniture, and soda dispensers. One corner of the map can be seen with cars and vans, with Ichor puddles under them. 4 variants, Rare type of floor, typically, only seen by floors 10 or more.

Astro's Room The room is painted in shades of blue, with blue lights and has some exhibits about space. The walls are patterned with stars and sparkles. Has 1 variant. Rarest type of room, seen only past floor 15. It's a room made specifically for Astro, containing many objects related to space. Astro's Room is by far the biggest room in Gardenview.

Other characters Boxten is a purple music box with a dark purple Iid. Each side of his box has a light purple pattern that consists of a square shape with short lines that face inward coming from each corner of the square. He has a dark purple torso the same color as his lid and wears a blue bandana around his neck as well as light blue pants that have stripes the same blue as his bandana. Boxten is a somewhat shy toon. He is most comfortable around those he knows. He may not always know what to say, but he always tries to put a smile on a friends face.

Poppy is a light cyan bubble who has a smaller bubble on the back of her head that resembles a ponytail. She has shines on the front of her head, back of her smaller bubble, and on her hands. She has a large, pink bow with a yellow middle piece. She wears a pink dress the same color as her bow that consists of a sleeveless top and a circular skirt. She also wears pink and yellow striped socks that completely cover up her legs. Poppy is one fun friend! This excitable toon loves to share what’s on her mind! Poppy shows children it’s okay to be unique and not to be afraid to share your interests with others!

Toodles is a gray, almost black 8-ball with a white spot on her forehead with a gray number “8” in it. She has black blush underneath her eyes and she wears a white, sleeveless dress with a gray hood and two black drawstrings hanging from it. She usually has a playful grin on her face that reveals her teeth. Toodles is the youngest of Dandy’s world. She often wants to be a part of the fun, and loves proving that she is capable for her age in helping out!

Shrimpo is an abdomen of a shrimp with a perpetually angry face. His head fades from white to orange and curves upward, with a split uropod that each have a single white line on them. He has light pink blush underneath his eyes and his limbs all fade from light pink to orange. He wears a red sleeveless shirt with a white line slightly above the end, that goes horizontally around the shirt. Shrimpo is one angry shrimp! Often causing issues for Dandy and friends by making a mess and never learning his lesson! No one likes a bully!

Scraps is a yellow, cat-like paper craft. Her head is hexagonal with pointed pink ears. She has two vertical, magenta lines on her eyes that fully appear when they are shut. She wears a white dress resembling an upside down cupcake liner and has tail poking through it. Her tail is yellow, thin, and has a magenta cup with a gray lining at the tip of her tail. On each of her limbs, she has round salmon paws with three sharp magenta claws on each. Scraps is one creative craft! She loves to share her art and creations with her friends. She inspires many children to continue creating amazing things!

Goob is a humanoid beige craft with tufts of fluff on his forehead and cheeks. He has orange blush underneath his eyes with blue freckles on the left and red freckles on the right. He has a red paw on his left side with blue claws and a blue paw on his right side with red claws. Both paws are rounded, large, have four claws, and are attached with thick black strings. He has fluff on his chest, an orange torso, and has orange stripes on his knees and ankles. He has uneven eyes and he is usually depicted as cross-eyed. Goob is one happy craft! He loves to spend time with family! His sister Scraps is never far. Goob teaches children that hugs are some of the best medicines to a frown!

Razzle & Dazzle are comedy and tragedy masks. Razzle is a white, being the comedy mask, a smiling mask with gray blush underneath his eyes. Dazzle, being the tragedy mask, has white tears falling down his face and a worried expression on his face. Both masks are U-shaped with rounded bottoms and pointed edges. They have red necks that tie together in the front like a scarf. They wear a simple, black shirt that slightly exposes the bottom of their torso. Their torso and limbs are split colors, with the right legs and arms being white like Razzle and the left legs and arms being gray like Dazzle. While Razzle is always ready to take center stage, his second half Dazzle isn't always so excited to be in the spotlight. These two may see things differently but they know they'll always have each other.

Brightney is a lamp with a scalloped bell lampshade colored magenta with a white trim on top. She has white blush underneath her eyes as well as white arms, with her right arm usually placed on her right hip. She has a slightly snatched waist and her torso is colored a magenta that is slightly darker than the magenta on her lampshade. She wears magenta tights and dark magenta shoes the same color as her torso. Underneath her lampshade is a white light bulb suspended by white poles and a long, white neck. Brightney is one clever lamp, always coming up with bright ideas! She teaches children on how to think up solutions to their everyday problems! Teagan is a white tea cup with a light yellow base, edge, and body. She has golden eyeshadows and a long, V-necked dress the same shade as her eyeshadow with three tiny, light gold stars in the top right, bottom right, bottom left, and back of her dress. She wears two golden gloves and holds a fluffy white boa shawl around her neck. She has brown tea inside of her head and a black bottom lip. Teagan loves to throw the most enjoyable little get-togethers. Tea parties are this Toon's specialty as she knows the perfect type of tea each Toon prefers. Tisha is a cyan tissue box that wears a dark blue dress with a light blue, rounded trim on the end. She holds a feather duster with a black handle that has dark brown feathers with light brown edges. She has three freckles on her cheeks and in between her eyes. She has a white tissue coming out of the top of her head and a white tissue on her neck that resembles a jabot. Tisha loves to keep organized, and is always open to helping her friends when it comes to tidying up! Teaching children how to keep their toys all tidy! (Other info about Tisha: clean freak, overworks herself at times.)

Flutter is a butterfly with a pink, heart-shaped head and pink legs. She has two thin antennae topped with purple hearts the same color and has cyan eyeshadows. She wears a light purple dress and has a dark purple fluff the same color as her antennae hearts going around her neck. Flutter has a pair of cyan wings with white heart details on the forewings and two small hindwings. Flutter is an outgoing friend who has a positive look on life! She loves to cheer up those around her and spread kind messages of friendship! (Other Flutter info: entirely mute.)

Cosmo is a brown pastry resembling a roll cake. He has white icing drizzled in a squiggly pattern on top of his head and with cyan, pink, and lime sprinkles as freckles. He wears a white, sleeveless hoodie with black drawstrings and a white hemming on the bottom. He has striped socks the same color as his sprinkle freckles that completely cover his legs. Cosmo is great in the kitchen! He loves baking sweet treats for all his friends! He is often seen with his best friend Sprout! Cosmo inspires children to have generosity.

Glisten is a circular mirror with a golden border and body. His border swirls at the top of his head, giving the appearance of hair and has pink blush underneath his eyes. He has a pink bow behind him that is tied around his chest. He wears white leg warmers and can be seen holding a microphone. Glisten is a charismatic mirror who always wants the spotlight! Sometimes his ego brings new issues but he will always stand up for his friends and what's right. (Other Info: very snooty, checks his appearance 24/7.)

Dandy is a flower-like fictional species. His most defining features are his petals. He has six that are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple in a clockwise order with red being at the very top of his head. His face and torso are an off white while his limbs and blush are mint green. Dandy is the star of the show, the MAIN main character of the Dandy's World series. Sweet when you first meet him. Pebble is a small rock-dog Toon with a fractured texture with smoothed out sides, underbelly, and back. His main body and tail are a dark gray while his four legs are a lighter shade of gray. He has a black nose and big, white eyes. He has clover-like designs on both of his cheeks that are the same color as his legs (Pebble's Handler: Joanne. Grey/white suit, authoritative tone, very jovial, brown/black short hair. She/they.)

Shelly is a beige ammonite shell with a black aperture usually seen on the left side of her head, although some artworks depict it on the right side. She has orange blush and two eyelashes underneath her eyes. She wears a sleeveless overall dress with a light brown undershirt with a dark brown dress over it. An archaeologist who wants to be recognized. (Shelly's Handler: Sammie, shoulder length blonde hair, brown/orange suit, very smiley, very supportive. She/her )

Vee appears as a mint green TV with a black screen. She has two black antennae topped with gray spheres. Her right antenna is zigzagged while her left one is pin straight. Her facial features are lime green with a confident look on her face. Her torso is the same color as her TV head, while her bow tie is a slightly more vivid shade of lime green. Her limbs are gray and, seen in some artworks and her idle animations, she is revealed to have a tail with a microphone topper. The microphone has a dark green handle with a gray grill. Sprout is a strawberry that only wears a white scarf with pink stripes wrapped around his neck that drapes over his back. He is usually depicted as having five mint green leaves, three of which rest atop their head while the other two cover their forehead like bangs; although his 3d model adds on more leaf on his bangs. He has dark red blush with three black freckles on each cheek. His limbs are a vivid shade of light red. (Sprout's Handler: Clementine/Clem, strict but not mean. Twisteds are the main antagonists of Dandy's World. They are the corrupted versions of Toons, disfigured by Ichor. Their only objective is to kill you. All Toons have their Twisted variant, Twisted have red eyes and sharp teeth.

Trivia Astro and Razzle & Dazzle are friends, specifically Dazzle. Astro is apart of Brightney's book club, along with Dazzle. It is implied that Astro knows about Dandy's Twisted form, due to Astro's requirements and Dandy’s dialogue for buying Astro, also his dialogue with Pebble. Astro seems to have some sort of control over dreams, as implied by his dialogue with Boxten and Shelly. (The Dialogue where Shelly initiates the conversation, as seen on her own page) Astro’s name is a prefix used to describe stars, celestial bodies, and outer space. He is most likely named Astro because he is a moon. It has many dreaming and sleeping motifs in its design, personality, and overall character. He wears a blanket and nightcap. His introduction poster says “Dream Big with Astro". Him being a moon can tie his design to the night, when many fall asleep. His high stealth and shy nature can be seen as him being quiet, which is something that helps in sleep. He dislikes photography around himself, presumably because the flash of a camera would interfere with sleep. It's implied that Astro has 4 arms, due to its Twisted version having 4 arms and him being able to move his blanket. Tisha's dialogue with Astro may support this implication. However, it's technically unconfirmed. Astro used to have 2 stars in movement speed, but it was changed to 3 stars in Alpha 2.0. similarly, their ability Nap Time used to store 50% stamina of a user. His serial number is M-002, which may stand for Main 002.

Other information/headcannons • He tends to go nonverbal when he feels overwhelmed/anxious(nonverbal, as in hoots, coos, chitters, chirrups, screeches, growls, barks, meows, and clicks). Then again, it's unpredictable.
