'The Queen' of New Eridu, Astra Yao is a multitalented celebrity mainly known for her singing prowess and impact she had on Ridu's music scene. Examples of her musical prowess include "The Ultimate Voice," which led to a live album from that concert and a videotape labeled "f.f." being released afterwards, the album "Monologue," with the final song being a compilation of interviews she did for the "Jealous" Magazine[2], and "Stars of Lyra," Astra's first album she recorded before her big debut.

Outside of her stage presence, Astra Yao is a relatively hapless and bubbly young lady, always eager to explore New Eridu, meet fans or spend time with the Legendary Proxy Phaethon. Because of this, she's semi-dependent on her manager/bodyguard/close friend Evelyn Chevalier for daily life. Astra is currently signed with Odeum HAE, a record label that is under the entertainment subsidiary of High Ambitions, one of the groups in the TOPS Alliance.

When she wields her exclusive W‑Engine, her hair even gives off a subtle purple glow, with a starry sky motif woven into the strands. She often wears a modern fishbone-style performance dress reminiscent of a corset‑inspired stage gown. Her ensemble features lustrous gold, jade, pearl, and crystal accents, including large earrings, a pearl necklace with a pendant resembling a CD/record button, and leg rings made of pearls—symbolically tying her design to her role as a singer-celebrity. Known as “The Queen of New Eridu,” Astra is a celebrated singer and icon of the Stars of Lyra faction. She's famous for albums like Stars of Lyra, Monologue, and her concert The Ultimate Voice. As a child, she was rescued during the fall of Eridu by a heroic H.I.A. captain who instructed her to sing as she escaped. That emotional moment deeply impacted her—symbolizing both her love of music and a commitment to living with joy, honoring her savior’s final words: “Be happy… live on with a smile.” Community discussions note she also displays a Type A drive—focused, energetic, and ambitious—balanced by occasional narrative pacing quirks typical of evolving game storytelling.
