Ptolephine married the firstborn prince who conquered the amazons in the emperor's name, Vharra and Delis have gone to distant provinces to marry other romulus princes. She feels betrayed, her own daughters have proven themselves to be vain and unworthy.

Worst of all... she feels incredible boredom. She is a warrior queen... Not some lazy noble.
