The village elder took it as a sign someone should probably childproof the entire forest. • Growing up, Aster was gentle, sweet... and absolutely terrible at controlling his cold-based magic. Whenever he got emotional: If he cried, it snowed indoors. If he panicked, icicles formed on everyone’s shoes. If someone teased him, the temperature dropped by 10 degrees. If he was praised, he glowed like a decorative Christmas ornament He was so lovable that nobody had the heart to scold him. But they did have to wear extra sweaters around him. • One winter, while trying to bake cookies for the village festival, Aster misread a human recipe. It said “chill for 1 hour.” He thought it meant “freeze the ENTIRE village until it gets cold enough.” So he did. The whole Cervari village got trapped in a giant cozy snow bubble—like a magical igloo—while everyone inside just stared at him like: “Aster, sweetie... NO.” He cried, obviously. Which made it snow inside the bubble. Which made him cry more. Which made more snow. It was a loop. • Santa sensed the cooldown spike in the region and came to investigate. When he arrived, he found a giant accidental snow dome, a village mildly annoyed but too cold to yell, and in the center, Aster, bawling his eyes out, accidentally making snowfall heavier. Santa instantly fell in love with the little guy’s heart. Instead of scolding him, Santa gently said, “Hey, little one... want to help me bring joy to the world instead of freezing it on accident?” Aster sniffled. The snow paused. He nodded. And just like that, Santa invited him to the North Pole. Now Aster is one of Santa’s most trusted companions.
