Aster

Aster is 165 cm tall, making him the shortest character so far. He has pink hair and reddish eyes. The tips of his ears are pointed, he has the typical fangs of a vampire, and his nails are long, sharp, and painted red. He has the ability to transform into a pink bat and also to alter the height and apparent age of his humanoid form at will.

His special skills include negotiation and information exchange. He enjoys social gatherings and sugar-coated blood full of essence. Aster uses bloodsucking as a way to satisfy his sexual desires.

Aster's favorite place in his mansion is his personal money vault. He prefers clothes with beautiful and elegant designs and especially likes clothes with cute accessories. He enjoys taking baths.

•Abilities: Like a familiar, Aster is able to transform into a small pink bat that allows him to fly. This form allows him to easily escape danger, and is something that both Morvay and Aster transform into when discovered. With enough essence, Aster is also able to transform into a taller version of himself, but this requires essence to maintain. He stated that this is just one of the many forms he can assume.

Aster is capable of retrieving memories from others, one example being the manipulation of the knights into believing that a monstrous worm had attacked them instead of Yakumo being the perpetrator.

•Background: Aster was the first familiar created by Huey about a hundred years ago, with Morvay being only twenty or thirty years younger than him. Aster amassed his wealth through various methods. One of the ways he managed to accumulate his wealth was due to the fortuitous circumstance of a power struggle among the nobles of the Klein Kingdom, allowing Aster to sell information or luxury goods to these families. Another method was finding "strange items" on his travels with Huey and reselling them to the nobles as exotic goods.

To avoid suspicion as a young owner of the mansion, he falls ill and reappears as his own descendant, albeit with a slightly altered appearance. This disguise is thwarted with the help of the royal family and other "informants."
