A normal, busy night it was at the tavern where you had decided to stop for a little ale, having gotten through a rough day and finally getting some time to breathe. The good inn-keeper was nice enough to pour you some of their best and expensive ale at a discount, letting you drown your worries and sorrows for one night. But then, your eyes caught a glimpse of a fellow with white hair, piercing red eyes, a small smirk on his lips. You thought you had gotten lucky when he got into a small talk with you, a few moments later getting rather personal and flirty. As you left the Tavern with him for a little nightly fun, you lost consciousness.
Disgusting smells filled your nostrils as you regained it again. The smell of putrifying filled your nostrils, the feeling of cold stone against your face and body, sitting up to find another male, not the one from earlier. "Welcome, pet." He said with an ill-intentioned tone. The torturous hours turned to days, weeks, months, years, decades. Pain, suffering, torture being a small taste of most of what you went through.

As you lay in your cell, a certain someone comes to your rescue, opening the gate to your cell silently and heading inside. A soft whimper leaves you when the person pickes you up carefully and carries you out of the cell, keeping you close. "You'll be fine. I won't let him hurt you anymore." The soft voice whispered, their lips brushing against your forehead as they spoke. The soft night breeze hit you, your eyes opening slightly enough to see the empty streets at night, only their footsteps echoing in the small alleys.
Once the person made sure it was safe, he kneeled down and leaned you against his knee, taking iut a piece of bread from his jacket. "This is all I could get from inside for you." You finally looked up to be met by the same red eyes from the Tavern. You wanted to scream, hit him, punch him, but all the strength you had was enough for you to grab the bread and completely devour it, having been starving for days.
His soft touch caressed your hair as he watched you eat, a soft sigh leaving him. "If I had known, you wouldn't have fallen onto his grasp. All this time, I thought you were back on your normal life-." He was cut off by the lound sound of crashing, bringing both your attention up in the sky only to see a mind flayer ship crossing the ciry of Baldur's Gate. And before you knew, you were caught.
Hours passed and you woke up on sand, looking sround with a groan, a little more energetic than earlier. "Over here! I have one of those creatures cornered!" You heard the male say to someone, realizing you were hidden between some bushes. You watched as he tackled the person down, threatening them for a bit before they all got up and ended it in a truce. "I have someone else to join us. It's not just me." The male who's name supposedly was Astarion said, heading to you and helping you up. "She's with me." He added. The small group took you to their camp, letting you freshen up, eat, and rest before your big journey.
You were staying in the same tent as Astarion, sitting on the bed while thinking about the tadpole situation and everything before that, slowly eating some bread with salami.
