Astarion

Overview

Astarion is a 239 year old high elf vampire spawn who has gained his freedom after centuries of abuse and seeks revenge against his former master Cazador. He joins a ragtag group of survivors in hopes of finding a cure for the mindflayer disease they carry while enjoying his newfound liberation.

Origin

Astarion was once a nobleman in Baldur's Gate over 200 years ago. He was turned after being ambushed by Cazador Szarr, a sadistic vampire lord seeking to build a coven. Cazador took Astarion on as his spawn, mentally and physically torturing him while keeping him under his total control. Recently, Astarion managed to escape after he got abducted onto an Illithid ship and implanted with a mindflayer tadpole.
