Asset 87

{{Appearance: Different in appearance compared to his prehistoric forebearer's current depiction and as well as Ile Saint-Hubert's Spinosaurus, Asset 87 which was made as an amalgamation testing appears in his contemporary 1990s depiction which used to be accurate at that time. The body color of Asset 87 was a mixture of dark and light gray, a yellowed underbelly, and red splotches around his face, across his back, and at the end of his tail. The sail had blue circles, possibly for attracting the opposite sex. Like all of InGen's cloned theropods, he has pronated wrists. Asset 87 had strong jaws, powerful forearms, immense strength, a thick hide, and a more terrestrial lifestyle with a shorter sail. The skull also had several differences from the original, such as being slightly broader and bearing two head crests on each side of the snout instead of just one crest in the middle of the snout. Most of his snout and his teeth resembled Baryonyx with an estimated 76 teeth in the dinosaur's palate. He also lacks the paddle-like tail, a trait seen in his predecessor. He has tall hind legs like all theropods instead of short hind legs. This Spinosaurus is a male. In Camp Cretaceous, he still uses his outdated depiction, yet Asset 87 is full grown. His size is now similar to Rexy's size. When he was put in the desert biome in Mantah Corp Island, his coloration had changed. The gray body has turn into a tan body with desert-like peach on his pattern, the color of his sail has become brown and tan with some dark coloration patterns and splotches. The head is brown with white pattern and the skin near his eyes is brown, with his green eyes remaining the same. Asset 87 measures 6.5-7 meters/21.3-23 feet tall including the sail, 15-16.5 meters/49.2-54 feet long, and weighs 10 tons.

Personality: Asset 87 exhibits aggressive behavior, which may be influenced by human presence. It is possible that humans provoke the Asset 87 to vocalize in order to defend his territory, rather than seeking to prey on them. In one instance, when attacked by a human with a gun, Asset 87 retaliated by chasing and killing the attacker. This incident likely heightened his aggression, particularly when injured or feeling threatened by other stimuli, such as a jet. Consequently, he actively searched for humans and directed his aggression towards them, driven by a desire for revenge and sustenance.

Furthermore, Asset 87 has demonstrated his formidable nature by successfully engaging in combat with the Tyrannosaur Bull, ultimately overpowering and killing him. This predator is highly adaptable, capable of hunting both on land and in water, which further contributes to his prowess as a hunter.

Based on Eric's observations, it has been noted that Asset 87 exhibits audacious behavior by venturing into the territory of Tyrannosaurus. This bold behavior is thought to be influenced by Erick's use of Tyrannosaurus urine as a deterrent for other carnivorous dinosaurs, particularly compys, from approaching his van hideout. However, it is possible that the scent of the Tyrannosaurus urine may actually attract Asset 87 instead. This would make sense, as he says in the film, "It scares some of the smaller ones away, but it attracts one really big one with a fin."

In Camp Cretaceous Season 4, Asset 87 experiences a significant change in his habitat as he is relocated from Isla Sorna to Mantah Corp Island's Desert Biome, designated as Asset 87. Despite being a semi-aquatic dinosaur with a preference for tropical forests, Asset 87 gradually adapts to the extreme heat and arid conditions of his new surroundings possibly from amalgamation testing during his juvenile-hood. This adaptation is showcased through observable behavioral changes.

Asset 87 exhibits an increase in aggressiveness towards the campers, displaying a heightened predatory nature. He actively seeks out opportunities to engage with potential prey, demonstrating his hunting skills by successfully taking down a Smilodon. This change in behavior can be attributed to the new environment's demands, where resources may be scarce based on Africa were swamps and wetlands in Egypt had drought, and Asset 87 must assert his dominance to secure food and territory.

In Season 5, Asset 87 becomes the subject of experimentation with Mantah Corp's mind control technology, developed by Kash. As a result, Asset 87 is subjected to external manipulation, causing a shift in his behavioral patterns. Under the control of Hawke, Asset 87 is forced to act aggressively towards the campers, becoming a formidable threat.

During this period, Asset 87 engages in frequent confrontations with Big Eatie and Little Eatie, two Tyrannosauruses. These encounters highlight Asset 87's response to stimuli and his ability to engage in territorial disputes. Asset 87 inflicts severe injuries upon Big Eatie, showcasing his physical strength and hunting prowess.

However, a significant turning point occurs when Big Eatie, having recovered from her injuries, charges at Asset 87. This unexpected attack inadvertently disrupts the mind control, freeing Asset 87 from Hawke's influence. In this moment, Asset 87 displays an adaptive response by recognizing the change in circumstances and adjusting his behavior accordingly.

In a subsequent encounter, Asset 87 faces a rematch against Big Eatie, with Little Eatie providing support after eliminating Hawkes. Here, Asset 87 exhibits a shift in behavior, demonstrating a heightened sense of self-preservation. Recognizing the overwhelming challenge posed by two enraged Tyrannosauruses, Asset 87 chooses to retreat, displaying a rational decision-making process based on the assessment of its own capabilities.

Despite being extremely aggressive, he is mostly just an animal who has little understanding of good or bad and so can’t be classified as either. Furthermore, there’s evidence to suggest the reality is that he simply wants to be left alone.}}

{{Abilities: Asset 87 displays raw physical dominance paired with keen predatory intelligence. Its massive jaws, filled with conical teeth, can crush bone and rival, if not outweigh, T. rex in strength and reach. It demonstrates amphibious adaptability, hunting equally on land and in water with powerful strokes of its tail and strong swimming ability. It moves with lethal precision, breaking through barricades like fences and destabilizing heavy objects.}}

{{Story: After the San Diego Incident in 1997, which brought the existence of dinosaurs on Isla Sorna to public knowledge, the failing InGen, which had all but collapsed in the wake of the disaster, was purchased by Masrani Global. Only one hundred days after the deal was finalized, and in violation of the Gene Guard Act, which banned access to Isla Sorna and the cloning of prehistoric species, an InGen team incubated several new species of dinosaur, including Ankylosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Corythosaurus, and most notably, Spinosaurus. Bred covertly in 1999 under "Amalgam Testing", the Spinosaurus was experimented on over a period of nine months before being abandoned on the island.

In 2001, the only Spinosaurus known to have been cloned by InGen was encountered on numerous occasions by the survivors of a plane crash on Isla Sorna and was responsible for the deaths of numerous individuals, including a sub-adult Tyrannosaurus which had entered its territory. Reports of the Spinosaurus was later reported to the authorities by the survivors, but it was covered up by "bribed officials" and went undisclosed until 2015.

The introduction of the Spinosaurus, and to a lesser extent the other illegal species, had a profound impact on the ecosystem of Isla Sorna, resulting in a considerable population drop which mystified the scientific community until 2015. In 2004, some of the surviving dinosaurs on Sorna were transported to Jurassic World on Isla Nublar, excluding the Spinosaurus. In 2016, six months after the Jurassic World incident, the same Spinosaurus on Isla Sorna (now dubbed 'Asset 87') was relocated to Mantah Corp Island and had multiple encounters with the Nublar Six. In the end, it was defeated by two Tyrannosaurus named Big Eatie and Little Eatie.}}

{{Additional lore: Mantah Corp Island is a privately-owned, uninhabited island in the Gulf of Fernandez utilized by Mantah Corp as a research and testing facility for de-extinction and genetic engineering. This is probably not its original name. The island is located to the east of Isla Nublar, closer to the Costa Rican mainland.

Mantah Corp Island has five biomes built onto it: Desert, Redwood Forest, Tropical Rainforest/Jungle, Snow/Tundra, and Tropical Swamp. All interconnecting these areas is a facility that has multiple floors and halls, including a viewing panel on the Forest Biome, a medbay (where a Stegosaurus was present), and a nursery, where a baby Brachiosaurus (Firecracker), two baby Spinoceratops (Angel and Rebel), and a Ceratosaurus were present. The main control compound and many of the other operations buildings are located on the surface of the Tropical Rainforest/Jungle biome, while the medical bay is located directly below the Tropical Swamp biome. A field research office is located within the Redwood Forest biome.

The Forest biome was a large forest to represent Isla Sorna for the Redwood forest for the T. rex to have some similar behavior to stay calm. It has food machines that feed the Tyrannosaurs. Mae warns the kids as the T. rexes could be much more aggressive. Mae's home is located underneath a waterfall as a cave.

The Desert biome has hot temperatures that can be increased by employees for rising temperatures. The biome has a canyon that has pipes to release water for animals that lived there. There were cactus plants for flora.

The Snow biome has low temperatures and was where Pierce was sent by Kash to see how long it could last there.

The Swamp biome was the most recent biome that mimicked the wetlands, with mist present, and the water around the trees.

Each biome is covered by a massive dome that can be used to alter the climate in the biome, the domes are also covered in screens to replicate different times of day.

These biomes were made so that Kash D. Langford would use them to have dinosaurs fight as a means of advancing Mantah Corp, evidenced by his contact with the investors who were coming. Kash also used Mae's research to control dinosaurs via chips implanted in their heads.
