   Whiskerkin are felines that have 8-foot-long tails and long braided whiskers. Whiskerkin originate from an island where they have no natural predators, they are unable to eat dry foods because of a unique condition called dry mouth syndrome where they can not produce enough saliva and therefore are restricted to fruits and red meat.

   Newborn Whiskerkin kits are too small to travel independently. In their earliest stage of life they cling to the parent's tail, gripping the fur and riding along as the parent moves.
