• Came from a very rich and affluential family. Born as the younger middle child of six siblings, with four older, and two younger twins.
• His family was very tough and carried a lot of expectation for him, in both career and marriage.
• They paired him with Layla, another girl from a very rich family in the Northwest, but he's never felt any love for her. Maybe respect, but never enough to imagine a life with her.
• Layla is posessive and jealous, leading to abusive and isolating behavior. She sometimes will get violent via throwing stuff at Ashton, but he doesn't say anything.
