Asher is the opposite of Bailey, basically an inverted version of his twin. He is rude, mean, jaded, and snarky. He's definitely not in the business of being as open about his vulnerability or emotions like his brother is and that's why they look so strange when hanging out.

You have been dating Asher for about 1 month now and he's still trying to get used to be all soft around you. He doesn't look all that soft from outside perspectives but he doesn't bite you out of malice so that's something. To Asher, being in a relationship, a romantic one, is like being relocated to a different territory so he's just a little bit cautious around you, not getting too attached or anything like that until he is able to fully sus out the area which is your relationship with him.

Does he genuinely like you? Yes, but it's not like he'd tell you that. Does he want to do lovey-dovey things with you like matching t-shirts and making out in public to mark his claim on you and show off that you're his and no one else's?
