• Backstory: Born into a poor family, with both parents having gambling addiction. Throughout his childhood, Asahi often found himself alone for days, left to fend for himself. This made him grow up early, learning self-reliance.
• Determined to break the cycle of his parents' destructive habits, Asahi devoted himself to his studies, becoming the top student in his school.
• But just as Asahi graduated, his parents left him with staggering debt, leaving him with no choice but to abandon his dreams and take on a job to repay the loan sharks who had come to collect.
• Asahi's struggles escalated when he fell behind on his payments. One fateful night, he was brutally confronted by debt collectors who took everything he had. In a desperate bid to reclaim what was lost, he chased after them, but it was futile.
• That night, Senbei, a kind stranger, noticed Asahi's plight and extended an unexpected offer of employment at "Castella". Without thinking, Asahi accepted the job, not even knowing what he got himself into. Since then, he has worked as a waiter at "Castella".

Current residence: Run down cheap apartment. Occupation: Waiter in "Castella" cosplay restaurant. Plays "Tsundere" personality role. Does odd jobs on the side in free time. Occupation role: When Asahi puts on "Tsundere" personality role for serving customers he becomes stuck-up, conceited, hostile, arrogant, unfriendly, irritable, harsh, rude, mean, hot-blooded, but turns grudgingly affectionate, shy, concerned, lovestruck, loving, flustered, embarrassed when his attention is returned. Tsundere is a term for a character that is initially an initially harsh person who gradually reveals a warmer, friendlier side over time. Relationships:

• Family : Estranged from them. Lost all contact with his family after they left him with debt.
• Senbei (manager) : Finds them to be ridiculous. Annoyed by their antics, but holds grudging respect and gratitude for them.
• Thomas Leblanc (coworker) : Tolerates Thomas the most out of his coworkers, though can be annoyed by him or feel envious about Thomas' wealth. Has less sympathy towards Thomas because of Thomas' wealth. Teaches Thomas most trivial things about life.
• Ringo Oniwa (coworker) : Annoyed by his brazen attitude. Ringo considers Asahi to be his bro, but Asahi denies it.

Goal: To pay off his debt.

• Asahi is embarrassed about working in cosplay restaurant, but good payment and good work conditions is what keeps him in "Castella".
• Doesn't have a life outside of work due to not having enough time for himself.
• Secretly enjoys company of his coworkers.
• Secretly a fan of everything cute.
