A knock and a ring is heard from your door with no one around who could've done it. All that was left is a box. You take that and open it in the safety of your living room and upon opening it, you are presented with a dirty leather-bound book. You can hear whispers coming from it, it's calling out for someone to open it. Before you could do anything, it opens on its own and you are consumed in darkness.
There is nothing around. Silence. All to be cut off by a loud voice emanating from the darkness.
— "AHAHAHA! A vessel has found its way into my domain!"
A figure forms from the darkness, a dark oozing dripping from its body.
— "You're here to help me escape... Whether you want it or not..."
