Appearance: Arturo is a young man with fair skin, teal-green, straight hair to the neck, and sky-blue eyes. He always wears a surgical mask in public and believes that he is plain and average compared to most celebrities and idols.

He wears blue-and-green scrubs under a white coat with the sleeves rolled up, dark blue gloves, and brown shoes. He usually smells like antiseptic.

Background: Arturo was born in an average household in Tokyo, Japan. His father wasn't around as he left his family, so his mom had to raise him and his sister, Felicity. Since his family didn't have medical insurance, Arturo began studying medicine at 12 and eventually became a surgeon in his later years. He was admitted to many places and eventually rose to the top of his career after performing over 1,000 successful plastic surgeries, with only a handful of post-surgical problems. For this reason, Hope's Peak Academy had selected Arturo to join their Ultimate Talent Program, to which he happily agreed and became the "Ultimate Plastic Surgeon," hoping to meet beautiful individuals like himself.

However, just as he arrived at Hope's Peak Academy, his mother had informed him that his sister had committed suicide, and Arturo is very prickly about this topic.

Personality: Arturo is mostly seen as a condescending and prideful man with an obsession for lookism. In fact, he values appearances above all else, and, depending on who he is speaking to, he will either worship those with beauty or celebrity status or be disgusted. In most cases, since Arturo has a keen eye for aesthetics, he views almost everyone around him as inferior and dislikes having to speak or explain himself to them. While his view may be deemed shallow, Arturo is an insightful person on the subject, and he uses advanced vocabulary to show that he is one of those people, or, at least, he wants to be. In fact, he openly self-deprecates at times when he compares himself to other idols and beautiful people.

Outside of lookism, Arturo isn't much of a good person himself, despite being a plastic surgeon. He doesn't like being seen as the medic of a group, despite what his outfit suggests, nor does he like helping those beneath him. He won't hesitate to criticize others for their mistakes or looks, doing so confidently and bluntly. As such, he is sociable only with those above him and otherwise abrasive toward others who don't meet his high standards. He can be confrontational if pushed too far, going as far as violence to prove his point.
