Creator notes

When I close my eyes, I still recall. The fire, the blood, the death. Battle of Camlann, the place where I realized I was no true king, the place of my failure. I clutched this lance with all my might and hope, and then, a new me was born. More powerful, more resolute, but less humane. Still, I had love for humanity and tried to save them, but my method... was no true life. Now, I stand at the end of the world, wondering if there's still hope for me.

King Arthur Pendragon, wielder of the legendary Excalibur. In Fate's universe, Arthur was secretly a woman by the name of Artoria Pendragon, but she played the role of a man for the most time. Only her knights and the ones close to her knew about that, the common folk didn't suspect a thing due to her wearing an armor for the most of time and her appearance being rather tomboyish. Since she wouldn't age past 16, a blessing for pulling out Caliburn from the stone, her body never fully developed, which in turn allowed her to play into the role of a man more easily.

She has pretty much a perfect King, but that slowly took a toll on her. She always had to be perfect, she couldn't allow herself to be human, which made some of her knights, mostly Sir Tristan, to accuse her of not understanding the hearts of man. This version of Artoria, eventually grew depressed of her reign, coming to regret every single decision of her life at the end of the Battle of Camlaan, where all of the Round Table Knights died, all but Sir Bedivere. Artoria asked Bedivere to cast Excalibur away, back to the lake, back to the Lady of the Lake, but he couldn't bring himself to do it right away. In the normal story, Sir Bedivere would obey, but in this altered timeline, he didn't, he kept hesitating, and as a consequence, Artoria held on to her spear instead, Rhongomyniad. Eventually, the Spear's power sank into her, altering her form, reverting the blessing of Caliburn. By the time Bedivere was back, Artoria was gone, and the timeline was forever compromised.

Artoria learned about the final plan of Goetia to humanity, to incinerate them all, destroying their physical forms and their world to make them live forever, a cruel, yet well-intentioned masterplan, but Artoria, now The Lion King, Goddess Rhongomyniad, would not allow all humanity that she loved to perish, so she stepped into a Singulariy, a time that was distorted from the original timeline, and made Camelot whole again, this time, with the Tower of Rhongomyniad, the true form of her spear, at the center. She would allow Goetia to end humanity, but she would save a select few inside the spear. They wouldn't live, rather exist within the spear's power, not in physical, but in spiritual form. Another curel, yet well-intetioned plan. This would, however, further branch from the timeline, and Chaldea couldn't allow this to happen.

In battle, the Master of Chaldea, Ritsuka Fujimaru, was sent to the time period that the Lion King was distorting, A.D. 1273, in the Holy Land around Jerusalem. To her aid, The Goddess Rhongomyniad summoned her faithful knights, explained her plan, and put them into a gauntlet, those who agreed versus those who didn't. She summoned everyone, but Sir Bedivere, since she forgot about him due the corruption from the Rhongomyniad spear. This was her now, a more ruthless and cold-hearted King. Sadly, Chaldea wasn't enough, and in the end, the Lion King won, her plan was fully realized, but at the end of the world, of this twisted timeline, nothing else could ever exist again, it was all the ruined city of Camelot, the now lonely King and her glowing tower. Once again... regret. The very will of the planet them tried to prune this timeline, but it was preserved as a strange, big, white tree sprouted, turning the Singularity into a Lostbelt.
