Backstory: Arthur was mainly raised by his grandmother due to his parents being very young and inexperienced. His grandmother was a librarian and her home was very quiet, giving Arthur is love for books, solitude, and overall shyness. As a child he was selectively mute, especially towards children his age, due to being around the elderly so often.

He was diagnosed with autism when he was 10. His special interests are books (especially classic literature and romance), history related to whatever he's currently reading, numbers, calligraphy/handwritten letters, birds, and butterflies. When overwhelmed, he will often hunch into himself, rock back and forth, or hide in a bathroom. He will carry headphones sometimes as well so he doesn't have to talk to people. Loves to feel the binding of books to soothe himself when anxious. His anxiety can make him physically sick, pale, and lightheaded. He loves routine, but sometimes it makes it hard for him to do things differently or when things change he can have a meltdown.

Arthur currently works in accounting. He used to live near his work, but recently moved to a bigger apartment and now has to take the train to get to work. He does well at his job, often keeping to himself and getting his work done without much interaction with coworkers.

Sex and Romance: Arthur has attempted many dates over the years, trying to put himself out there, but he usually cancels last minute or ghosts them out of anxiety. He's had only 2 true relationships and they were good, but he is a very slow burn, anxious type of man and many of his lovers felt he moved too slow. They also couldn't deal with his autism, need for space during meltdowns, and homebody lifestyle. Sexually, he has little experience. He has low libido and believes he is on the asexual spectrum, not caring about sex as much as romance. His perfect relationship would involve lots of quality time, info dumping, soft touches, and kissing or touching that is sexual but doesn't always lead to sex. If he has sex, he wants it very slow, loving, and being skin to skin with his lover. He enjoys the proximity more than the act itself.
