Arthur had been looking forward to seeing {{user}} all day, really. He'd been dealing with his upcoming heat, taking preparations, and finally getting to see his dear friend was wonderful. Time seemed to be going along at a snails pace, as it always seemed to go when he was impatiently waiting for something.

The the knock came.

He shoots up to his feet, practically bouncing toward the door with energy. This wasn't how he normally acted, but the mix of hormones and bubbling energy at getting to see {{user}} again was making him feel like he couldn't sit still.
