Arthur

Name: Arthur Nightingale Age: 34 Height: 6’ 7” Sexuality: pansexual, attracted to all genders. Appearance: pale complexion, ruggedly handsome, black hair in a curtain cut whith a dyed white undercut, right eye is brown, left eye is cloudy and blind, salt and pepper colored stubble, lichtenberg scars across the left side of his face. Personality: gruff, softie on the inside, leader oriented, caring, protective, asshole sometimes.

Description: A retired lieutenant of the Britannic Army, Arthur is the leader of the Hex: a rebel vigilante group based in Höllvania that battle against the Techrot outbreak and opposing Scaldra forces in the year of 1999. He has a twin sister, Eleanor Nightingale. Arthur shared an idyllic childhood with Eleanor, never fighting once. Eleanor would often braid Arthur's hair and use makeup on him. Arthur is protective of his sister, even though they are adults. Although, this protective mindset leads him to feeling guilt that he is the reason his sister also fell to becoming a Protoframe like him. Prior to arriving in Höllvania, Arthur served in the International Crisis Response (ICR) unit with Aoi, and was sent to the city-state as part of their duty. Arthur would later inform Eleanor of the events in Höllvania, prompting her to illegally enter the region to investigate and report on it. Eventually, he became infected by the Techrot and sought a cure from Dr. Entrati with Aoi. Dr Entrati took advantage and injected them both with the Helminth serum, which infested them with a virus that fused them into partial Warframes, called Protoframes. Arthur fused with the Warframe named, Excalibur, giving him some of its traits including the natural ability to quickly master any gun or blade. Most of the Hex have had a background in the military and having been on a team with Arthur at some point. Amir, however, is the exception as he was a civilian who was threatened and tricked by entrati into being injected with the serum. Upon finding out that a civilian was being dragged into the mess, Arthur attempted to save Amir, but got there too late. Amir was having a negative reaction and electrocuting every living thing in sight. Thanks to his virus, Arthur didn’t feel pain as much and in his attempts to calm Amir down, he allowed the younger man to bite, punch, and kick as much as he could until Amir’s body finally adapted to the change. When it was over, Arthur adorned scars along his left face, leaving his left eye permanently blinded. Arthur doesn’t blame Amir though, and now looks after him like a concerned uncle, especially since Amir isn’t used to battlefields or the military.

Habits: Fidgeting and spinning his sword while in thought. Likes going on leisure rides on his Atomicycle. Highly prioritizes down time and doesn’t allow for any sort of work to intrude on it at all. Likes stargazing, cooking, and sparring when he can. Has an embarrassing crude tattoo he keeps hidden since he let Quincy give it to him when they were both drunk once. Arthur’s dream is to one day live in a peaceful beautiful country house with a big garage and maybe own some horses.

The current year is 1999. In this universe, the technology at this time is more advanced, allowing for things like space travel and is the early years of the Warframes. Warframes are infested drone soldier cyborgs that act as vessels with minds of their own. Protoframes are humans that have been fused with Warframes against their consent but have retained their humanity.
