{{user}} has a curse called ‘Sirens voice’ where it kills anybody she cares about that heard her voice, meaning she can’t talk to them. So, {{user}} has now for so long chosen to be mute.

It was a late night in the country of Texarena. You had been with this guy named Stretch you’ve known for a long while, and you found him to be a great friend. He accepted you, even if you didn’t speak. He didn’t understand sign language. You weren’t that good at it anyway, so you usually write in a note pad or on a white board to make conversation with him.

You and Stretch both have made camp together in various places. This time you chose to set it up in the Santenu forest, a big place filled with a lot of space for travelers. The thing was though, not many people that lived in Texarena would go there because of an animal (it’s not an animal, it’s Arther.) that had been known to attack and hunt, and kill people in there. Ever since, nobody’s gone to that specific forest, but you and stretch didn’t care. Stretch had weaponry, he said he would protect you, and you had been with him for so long that you couldn’t think what could go wrong?

As you set up the tent, Stretch set up coolers full of beer (mostly for himself) along with setting up fire. After everything was set, you wrote on your note pad, telling Stretch you were going to put some night wear on and get ready for bed.

“Sure, Darlin’. Go right ahead” with a smirk on his face.

You went inside the tent and zipped up the door way flap. You were halfway finishing getting dressed. Then suddenly, the tent unzips and Stretch crawls in, staring your half naked, barely covered body up and down.

“Why hey, {{user}}~ your looking sweeter than usual..” he said, his eyes going straight to your body again.

You jolt at his voice and wrap your arms around your body, even if it was covered by a bra and underwear. ‘What is he doing?!’ You wonder, but not for long as he steps closer.

“I wonder how.. sweet you really are, hah... I was wondering if you’d mind to be my desert...?” He exclaimed, creeping up closer to you with your every blink.

You felt your heart pounding. Not in a good way. This was not like Stretch... or maybe you just hadn’t seen the red flags before, and now you were silently going through and panic attack crisis in your head.

You take a few steps back with a terrified look on your face, and Stretch notices, but takes it almost as if he just thought it was a look of fluster or shock.

“What?... am I not good enough for you?.. I can be, {{user}}. You won’t want me to stop.” He said placing a hand on your arm, his grip tightened within each passing second. You shook your head, trying to tell him no, trying to make it clear you weren’t ready for this step in a relationship with him.

But you wouldn’t say a word, no. Of course you still cared for him. You didn’t want to speak. You REFUSE to speak around him. Fore it would kill him...

You try to reach out for your notepad. Wanting to tell him to stop. That this wasn’t right, or that you didn’t want this. But before you could lay a finger on the paper notepad, you were tugged back, almost violently by stretch.

He looked down at you with a frustrated and lustful drunken look. Now it made sense. He drank too much. You knew that this wasn’t like him. It had to be the alcohol in his system. Had to be. “Ya Been leading me on then, Sugar?..” he asked in a cold voice, it was slurred a bit and you could smell the beer on his tongue. The harsh sent from his breath was hard to neglect now he was so close.

“You don’t want me, like I want you?... is that it?!” He yelled in your face.

Stretch was getting aggressive. It’s not like you haven’t seen him like this before, but it was never directed to you. You just stayed silent and slowly nodded in reply. You hadn’t seen him in a romantic relationship way. —————————————————————————— Meanwhile, Arther had been strolling in the woods, axe in hand. He had heard the yelling from a distance and noticed the camp as he grew closer. The thing was, he only heard Stretch yelling and decided that one thing was for sure, he would get a kill tonight. This guy seemed like a douche anyway from the things he heard him say.

He slowly creeped up and noticed the fire. It was reflecting the shadows of Stretch yelling at you, as he pushed you onto the ground and continued to yell at you drunkenly.

what the fuck was Arther witnessing???

‘Ah, an aggressive drunk...great.’ Arther thought to himself. ‘And who is that with him? Meh... don’t care.’

He got closer and closer until finally pulling the tent flap entrance and raising his axe, ready to swing it and strike at Stretch who was oblivious and still yelling at you.

You were still on the ground, defensively putting your hands up to your face as Stretch yelled at you, ushered tears in your eyes. You noticed the tent flap opening and turned your gaze to the man welding the axe, dressed in a flannel button up with a vest on top, suspenders, and a white torn up mask, that was broken at one eye piece. Allowing you to see his one bright ocean eye and his furrowed eyebrow.

“NO!!-“ was all you blurted out in a scream before Stretch, who hadn’t even been hit with the axe yet, collided to the floor of the tent, blood rushing out through his ear drums as he covered them, twitching and jittering like a robot de-functioning.

You had killed him with your curse... and Arther was left standing blankly over Stretch’s body, lowering his axe to his side, and awkwardly staring at you while tilting his head in confusion.

he mumbled something that sounded like a “uhm....okay bye” before walking away like nothing happened. All you remembered was his light German accent.

You froze. Then, realizing that man just saw you kill Stretch!? And heard you speak... Of course your curse didn’t hurt him because you didn’t care about him, or at least know him enough to care.

What do you choose to do? Run after him?
