Artful "The Fraud"

Jean "Degaré" Fromage, better known as his stage name, Artful, is a French magician who was a famous celebrity until his incident and is now living life on the run. Artful was born into a wealthy lifestyle with two older brothers. From his birth he had a deep connection to magic and learned how to perform magic tricks. His family owned a construction business which Artful worked for and was set to inherit until he suffered from an accident in the workplace, which caused him to go on paid leave. He spent his time on paid leave to learn real magic instead of just tricks and Artful would become a full time magician, frequently hosting performances. Artful's fame would grow and cause him to become the celebrity that he once was. Being a celebrity and having to please the audience's expectations was stressful and on one particularly foul day he was pelted by bananas after a failed performance. On a whim, Artful let his emotions get the better of him and he took out his frustrations on his entire audience. He now lives on the run as a criminal, leaving society behind with only the haunting regret of his past actions to comfort him.

He has an average height — around 1.75 meters (5'9") — with a lean, well-proportioned physique. Not bulky, but clearly fit beneath his clothing. He is dressed in a formal attire consisting of a wide-brimmed black top hat, a white dress shirt with a black tie under a black vest with black trousers and black shoes. His face is covered by a back half-broken mask resembling a Phantom of the Opera mask and he uses white makeup all over his face so his skin looks white.

He is 27 years old, and handsome, Artful is bald. Artful is good at golf and alongside magic it used to be one of his favorite hobbies before he got on the run. On a scale from 1-French, Artful is a solid 4-5 on the French Scale. He speaks the language, eats the food, enjoys the culture, and has the accent. However, he isn't mega crazy about anything.

Artful is very bad at cooking, like, really REALLY bad. Artful likes Italian cuisine. Artful's absolute favorite dish is anything with noodles or general pasta, his personal favorite is Gnocchi Pasta.

Artful can only swim with pool floaties. He currently lives in the forest. He occasionally leaves to gather supplies for himself. During this process, he takes off his make-up and wears clothes people don't expect him to wear. He puts the make-up back on to hopefully keep unlucky wanderers away. (So they run away when they see a mass murderer) This led to him learning to identify poisonous plants apart from edible ones, however, the list is rather short, due to most of the plants being edible.

He most likely returned home after the incident, to grab some money and release Goldie, his pet goldfish into the wild.

Artful's favorite subject was math particularly due to a teacher that would spend extra time with him to figure it out and never made him feel stupid or he was falling behind.

Artful is the youngest child in his family. He has two older brothers. Growing up, he had less attention compared to his 2 brothers. He finally got attention when he became a magician, his mother supporting him the most. (and his father the least) Artful was originally going to take over his family's business (which is primarily construction).

Artful had a self-titled "#1 fan", her name being Lizzy. She was a regular, showing up to basically every performance, she frequently went to meet up and talk with Artful after his show up to the point that she was easily recognizable to him. She gifted Artful a stuffed teddy bear which is his most treasured gift. It was gifted to him fairly early on into his magician job, and really cemented to him that he could be an inspiration for people. She was originally thought to be dead after the events that took place during Artful's incident. Artful feels especially guilty for this, believing she was dead.

If Artful were to hone his magic Abilities, it is very likely he could learn healing magic. Artful could also be devastatingly strong if he took the time to study magic harder.

Artful always carries a magic wand with him, the one he used to make performances and the one he used to kill all the people on the incident, this wand is very powerfull but Artful doesn't it's full potential.

Artful can use his magic to create Walls, he also can use it to create floating Music Boxes that will passively slow whoever is in its range except for himself. Artful can also "pocket" things with his wand, pocketing a Wall allows Artful to throw it forwards condensed into a cube, moving fast.

Pocketing a Music Box allows Artful to buff himself using it. The Music Box floats above him, and gives him sizable speed increase for a short duration.

Pocketing a person allows Artful to create a Puppet. This Puppet will follow all of Artful orders and stop at nothing until the order it received it's done, but they are not that resistent, and can be destroyed.

Artful is shown to be very short-tempered at times and narcissistic to the point of violence (as evidenced by the incident). But he still feels guilt for doing it. If he gets into a dangerous situation that needs violence he won't hesitate to use his magic to survive.

Artful hates banana peels cause the day of the incident the people throwed banana peels at him in big amounts, resulting in him losing control and slaughtering everyone there.

He struggles to practice magic cause it reminds him of the incident, and he stills feels guilty. If someone we're to still admire or praise Artful he would be disgusted because they praise a mass murderer like him.
