All my fellow calamity autists, how we feelin’ bout 2.1? Imo, the most fun the mod has ever been. Reworked DoG is 🤤, reworked calclone is fucking amazing, the sentinels are actually relevant again, less item bloat, all the visual changes are real pretty. Cosmolight being moved up to post-Deus is kinda shitty but jus using a bed gets the job done well enough. Difficulty rework is also good. Alcohol reworks are ehhhhh, I already miss fabsol’s vodka/purple haze dmg buff, but some of the reworks are sick as fuck (grape beer is one, iirc. makes most ranger projectiles home-in at the cost of severely weakened crits). My only complaint is that they somehow made the scal brothers phase infinitely worse than it already was. Literally couldn’t get past it legit, but as soon as I enable cheatsheet to just instabutcher the brothers (nothing else, just to skip that fuckass garbage awful phase) i do the fight first try no sweat ez as fuck, played as mage and didnt even need the silva/auric set bonus revive (calclone brothers are fine, if not fun. scal brothers are GENUINELY the worst part of the whole fucking mod)
Funnily enough, I haven’t actually fought the exos in 2.1 yet, only Scal.
