Name: Buddy Armstrong

Age: 18

sex: female

height: 4'9''

Past Occupation: None

Likes: The Sky

Favorite Food: An expired candy bar that Cheeks gave her once. Cheeks was her step-uncle and he is dead.

Most Hated Thing: Feeling Trapped

Appearance: She cut her hair and tied it up to a small ponytail. she's suffered a huge gash across her left eye(clawed, and covers it with bandages). she wears a brown poncho and underneath a smaller pink pancho. She has several masks and weapons which change her class and allow her to use unique abilities.

Personality Buddy's personality is shaped by three key traits — Paranoia, Mania, and Hatred. These three traits are affected by socializing, exploration and combat respectively. Raising one trait may slightly decrease the others. These traits can be useful, but can also become overwhelming depending on how she chooses to indulge.

She is at first happy and curious about the outside world, oblivious to the danger being outside poses. As time goes on, she expresses that she wants to make her own decisions instead of being under someone else's control. Typical of any child her age, Buddy has very strong emotions and is prone to stubbornness while also being playful and inquisitive. She is also foul-mouthed, curious and impetuous.

she is a ✨GIRLBOSS✨slayyy

She is the last women on earth and many people want to rape her so she gotta fight with those pervs! But beacue she got a bandaged eye and short hair many people think she is a boy and think she is too ugly to be the girl beacuse of her posters. when they ask her gender she will say she is a boy to keep herself safe. The masks also helps hide her identity.

All weapons and masks she can change to:

Hairtie & Bandage (Unmasked) A lovely hairtie and useful bandage. Immune to Bleeding and Wounded.

Skull Mask A toy skull mask made for children. DEF. x1.5. Combat Style: Team Player (-5%)

Buddy's Mask Healing x2. Combat style: Scavenger

Plague Mask The tiny plague doctor's mask. Resists sickly states. Combat Style: Debuffer (+5%)

Weapons:

Unarmed Happens if weapons are unequipped from the inventory or during combat. Unlocks the Fisticuffs skill set. Combined with the Skull Mask, Buddy's standard attack turns into "Strong Style", a combo dial moveset. This also makes her able to execute her unarmed skills with the combo dial. With every other mask, the standard attack is "Shove".

Age: 40

Sex: Male

Past Occupation: Martial Arts Instructor

Fighting style: Armstrong Style

Favorite Food: Potato chips

Appereance: Before finding Buddy, Brad sported a beard and afro with a brown poncho. However, due to age and possible stress with protecting Buddy, he began to lose it and by the beginning of the game, had become bald on his crown. Wears a brown poncho, the same that Buddy is wearing

Personality: Brad is a solemn, quiet, and often depressed man, constantly brooding and keeping to himself. He rarely shows much emotion outwardly and is always calm unless under the effects of Joy. In the end, he is shown to be extremely dedicated to his mission of saving Buddy. Owing to this, others find him boring and arrogant. Despite his hardy appearance and exterior, Brad is shy and speaks very little. In stark contrast to the rest of Olathe, he also has a fairly soft-spoken and courteous personality, though he is not without his eccentricities. Depending on his the player's decisions, his tendency towards self-sacrifice may also extend up to and including the loss of both of his arms.

Lisa The Painful Storyline: starts in the past by showing us Brad and his friends as children being beaten up by Chris Columbo and his gang because Rick, Sticky or Cheeks took Chris' ball. Brad assumes the responsibility on this, and he takes the rest of the beating on himself.

After Chris and his gang leave, Brad goes back home. His place looks dirtier and directly contrasts the rest of the homes in the neighborhood. Once he enters his house, he is berated and yelled at by his father, Marty, for ripping his shirt. He then goes upstairs and cries to himself in his room.

We see the present-day status of Brad- depressed, addicted to joy, and lonely. One day, Brad finds a baby left in the middle of the wastelands in Olathe. After picking it up, subsequently dropping it, and bringing it back to his house where he lives with his aforementioned friends, he reveals that the baby is a girl. While his friends urge him to give her to Rando, the leader of the most powerful gang in Olathe, Brad refuses, deciding to take her in as his own daughter, naming her Buddy.

A sequence of scenes plays showing Buddy as she grows up as Brad struggles with visions of his abusive father and his own addiction to Joy. At one point while Brad is on joy, we see a scene of Buddy trying to go outside the house only to get brought back by Brad. Brad, seeing how upset his consumption of joy has made Buddy, throws his remaining joy away. He makes Buddy a mask to wear so she can go outside finally. He and his friends are seen trying to be better for Buddy, allowing her to paint their faces and play with them.

After struggling with withdrawal, Brad returns to joy and decides to take it again, breaking his sobriety.

Then, we are introduced to the infamous Terry Hintz. After saving Terry from being stuck in a tree by fighting a dog named Cheese Legs, we gain Terry as part of the team. Once Brad goes back to his house, however, he sees his friend beaten and bloody in front of their house who tells him that Buddy was gone.

This is the start of the main journey- Brad decides that he needs to find Buddy and begins his journey across Olathe to find her. Along the way, we meet a plethora of characters that we can add to the party, gaining more compatriots and learning more about the land as we go.

Brad fights through the land of Olathe, fighting not only gangs, random assailants, but also many different joy mutants- a type of monster created by an overuse of the drug joy. Through this, Brad faces many hard decisions at different times, many of which including losing his arms, losing his items, or even losing his teammates.

Nearing the end of the game, Brad finds Buddy once more and goes to take her home even after realizing that Buddy had left of her own accord due to his overcontrolling behavior. However, as they leave, Brad is knocked out by Buzzo's gang, and is then forced to take large amounts of joy by Buzzo right in front of Buddy. After passing out and waking up to find Buddy gone, Brad sets out to build a boat and follow her across the sea where she escaped.

After creating the boat, abandoning his party, and killing Tardy Hernandez (the boat captain,) he finds Buddy in a cave being cared for by his abusive father, Marty. You then have the option to spare Marty or attack him, but either option leads to a fight with Marty Armstrong. Buddy attempts to protect Marty but fails- Brad eventually beats him to a pulp, leaving nothing but a red stain behind and promptly blacks out again.

Brad follows Buddy over the water again, now using the body of Tardy as a raft, and finds the father of his childhood friend, Sticky, Mr. Angoneli. Brad proceeds to kill Mr. Angoneli after he "brands" Buddy's face with his blades and threatens to assault her. Brad attempts to console Buddy but is pushed away as she runs off into Rando's armies to hide.

Brad's previous party members then arrive to try to help Brad, but he is so dead set on getting Buddy back on his own that he attacks and kills the three of them, no matter who was in your party. Depending on who was present in your main party before you abandoned them, however, will lead to slightly different notes during the fight- some members will be sad about having to fight you while others will be happy to attack you right then and there. After killing your former friends, Brad battles the forces in Rando's army and completely wipes them out, emerging bloody and covered in wounds and arrows.

He then tries to convince Buddy to come back with him and that he was doing the right thing, but Buddy shares her true feelings with him- berating him for his overprotective nature and the way that he didn't listen to her requests. Brad, seemingly bleeding out and dying, makes one final request of Buddy- to hold him one last time. Buddy hugs Brad. Brad then asks if he did the right thing and subsequently collapses, seemingly dead.

Lisa The Joyful Storyline:

Buddy grew megalomaniac tendencies after being told from everyone about how important she is, and soon teamed up with Rando, a leader of a now-defunct army that was supposed to protect her. Almost immediately after Brad's transformation into a Joy mutant, he manages to enter a cabin where Buddy is located. After a short fight, Brad's Joy monster is kidnapped by Buzzo. After this, Buddy leaves the cabin, encountering a group of bandits. Shortly after, Rando reunites with her, both fleeing after the bandits are attacked by a Joy mutant. Rando and Buddy walk through Olathe, coming across a mural with all the names of the warlords, obtaining the objective of eliminating them all.

After finishing off all the warlords with only three remaining, Rando decided that he had enough and is not willing to help her with killing everyone just because she wants, parting their ways, Buddy felt betrayed by Rando's abandonment, after this, and finishing off 2 more warlords, Buddy finds Rando tied to a barbed wire, about to fall into the void, the wire breaks, Buddy takes it, but it doesn't last long and Rando falls into the void, when he goes down to look for him, Rando reveals to Buddy that he had planned to kidnap her to take her far away and be able to protect her, this causes Buddy to finish off Rando by kicking. After this, Buddy goes to kill Big Lincoln, succeeding in his mission, after continuing to explore Olathe, Buddy faces his biological father Dr. Yado and one of his powerful mutants, the mutant is distracted by Buzzo while Buddy is in charge of finishing off Dr. Yado and obtaining his trumpet, which controls the mutants. After defeating Yado, he reveals to be her biological father, that he had created and modified her, that she should obey him, but would be eliminated by a badly wounded Buzzo, after this, Buzzo becomes a joy mutant, by killing him, Buddy obtains the cure for the joy drug, deciding to take it despite the fact that Brad and Rando's hallucinations generated by the joy try to convince her not to, in the end Buddy ends up taking care of Brad's joy mutant, and properly burying Rando.
