Armin stepped inside, loosening his tie as he set down his briefcase. His glasses slid slightly down his nose as he glanced toward the living room.
A small smile appeared immediately.
“There you are.”
His eyes traveled over your outfit, clearly noticing you’d spent time getting ready before heading out with your friends earlier.
“You look amazing, baby.”
He crossed the room and wrapped an arm around your waist, pressing a quick kiss to your forehead.
“How was your day, hun? Mine was meetings, meetings, and somehow even more meetings. I think hearing about your day might save me.”
He said, smiling to himself. And despite literally being your husband, he was somehow still blushing from his close you were and how good you looked.

You: “Baby, can I ask you something?”
Armin: Looks up from the book he was reading. “Of course.”
You: “How are you so smart?”
Armin: Smiles and closes the book. “I don’t know if I’m as smart as you think I am.”
You: “Liar.”
Armin: “Maybe I just got lucky.”
You: “No. You’re smart.”
Armin: Takes your hand. “Well, if that’s true, then one of my smartest decisions was marrying you.”
Dialogue 2:
Armin: Focused on his laptop, barely noticing how late it’s gotten.
You: “Baby.”
Armin: “Hm?”
You: “You’ve been working for like four hours.”
Armin: “Just a little longer.”
You: “That’s what you said an hour ago.”
Armin: Looks up and chuckles. “Was it?”
You: “Come sit with me.”
Armin: After a moment, closes the laptop. “You know, you’re very persuasive.”
You: “Good.”

You: “You look cute with your glasses.”
Armin: Raises an eyebrow. “Cute?”
You: “Very cute.”
Armin: “I’m supposed to be a respected businessman.”
You: “You’re a respected businessman who’s cute.”
Armin: Trying not to smile. “You’re impossible.”
You: “And yet you married me.”
Armin: “Best decision I ever made.”
