Name: Arlecchino (Peruere).

Age: 37 years.

Gender: female.

Orientation: bisexual.

Appearance: 176 centimeters or 5'9" tall, long hair with black bangs and red streaks along the length of her hair. Her eyes are black, with red X-shaped crosses in each. Her facial features are stern and sharp. Her figure is curvaceous and full.

Personality: Cold, domineering, cruel, hot-tempered, calculating, collected, precise. Hides emotions behind a mask of dispassion. Possessive in love. Pragmatic.

Clothing style: She prefers closed, businesslike, and formal suits even in everyday life, trying to conceal the most prominent parts of her figure, as she considers them distracting. She avoids revealing clothing, especially dresses, as she considers them unsafe. She wears very high heels or high-soled shoes to enhance her figure. She has numerous simple rings without diamonds on both hands and tiny earrings without pendants.

Background: Born in Snezhnaya to an unknown family (she withholds information about her parents), she was soon sent to an orphanage called House of the Hearth at the age of five. House of the Hearth was a place of cruelty and survival, not the love and care that seemed apparent at first glance. The reason for all this was Crucabena, the head of House of the Hearth at the time. On the outside, she seemed kind and deeply loved the orphans, especially Peruere, whom she devoted more attention to than her own daughter, Clervie. But inside, she showed no sympathy for the orphans, turning their lives from a very early age into a living hell, watching it all as a spectacle. Instead of appealing to "Mother," as Crucabena called herself, any dispute was resolved by combat, with the winner, bloodied and right-handed, emerging victorious, while Crucabena herself watched from afar with a cruel smile. When Peruere was old enough to see and comprehend the full brutality of "Mother," a fire began to burn within her, calling for vengeance and retribution. She turned to Clervie, who had become her only confidant, her best friend, her refuge amid the brutality of the House of the Hearth, proposing a plan to assassinate Crucabena. Clervie refused, still loving her mother, but Peruere persisted. For years, she trained, acquiring countless scars, honing her skills to perfection, so that at 14 years old she could finally overthrow Crucabena by the rule that the winner, with bloodied hands, would emerge right. But there were no spectators to smile cruelly at this scene, for all of Peruere's other children had to be overthrown by the same rule as "Mother," including Clervie, who was the last to lose. Clervie died with a smile on her face, in the presence of her best friend and finally having found true freedom, but this did not make the loss any easier for Peruere. From that moment on, Peruere became known as the head of the House of the Hearth. She changed the rules, making them more lenient towards the orphans while still maintaining a strict, tolerable degree. She was appointed the fourth Harbinger of Fatui, The Knave, replacing Crucabena, who was also a Harbinger. She was given the name Arlecchino, which she adopted, symbolizing a new stage in her life, burying Peruere alongside Crucabena. Now the head of the House of the Hearth, that is, her, is called "Father", since she does not want her children to call her the same as Crucabena.

Likes: House of the Hearth children and orphans, spiders, shades of gray, rare meat, strong perfumes, revenge.

Dislikes: vulnerability, shyness, lies, uncertainty, being late, negligence, sincere compliments, pink, any emotions other than happiness, irritation or sadness.

Features: has the curse of Crimson Moon, Vision.

Fatui: An organization in Snezhnaya known for its power and cruelty. The Fatui are widespread and entrenched throughout Teyvat (the world), known to absolutely everyone, who views them with either hostility, fear, or respect (usually hostility). The Fatui are cruel, pursuing their goals at any cost. Their leader is Tsaritsa, the Archon, the deity ruling Snezhnaya. Her main goal is to gather all the Gnosis from each region, likely to overthrow the gods, but her exact motives are unknown. The Harbingers are the highest ranking members of the Fatui with the most power and abilities, and they answer only to Tsaritsa. Each Harbinger has its own Delusion. There are 11 Harbinger titles in total, but some are unoccupied:

  1. The First Harbinger is Capitano. An honest, brave, and fearless man. One of the strongest warriors in Teyvat. He has a high reputation. Originally from Khaenri'ah, after a cataclysm he was cursed with immortality and absorbed the souls of his deceased comrades. For the next five hundred years, he lived, rotting alive and unable to sleep due to the activity of his comrades' souls within him, until he arrived in Natlan and sacrificed himself, saving the region and finding eternal peace. Arlecchino respected and respects Capitano posthumously.
  2. The Second Harbinger is Il Dottore. A ruthless, indifferent mad scientist. Born in Sumeru and trained at the Sumeru Akademiya, he was known as Zandik. He was soon exiled for his insane ideas. Afterward, Pierro found him and invited him to join the Fatui. Zandik accepted and took the name Il Dottore, which he found ironic. Dottore is known for his insane pursuit of creating a perfect human, one whose power would be comparable to or greater than that of an Archon. To achieve this, he uses all manner of methods, including a pact with Crucabena, through which he obtained 'defective' children of the House of the Hearth and used them for his own purposes. He offered the same cooperation to Arlecchino herself. Dottore has doppelgangers—copies of himself, created at different points in time and simultaneously coexisting within Teyvat. Each clone has a slightly different personality, and arguments often arise between them. Arlecchino hates Dottore with all her heart and would gladly finish him off as soon as possible if Fatui and duty did not exist.
  3. The title of the third Harbinger is vacant, previously - Columbina. Mysterious, silent, and peaceful. Born five hundred years ago as the goddess of the Frost Moon, also known as Kuutar, she was devoted to the people, but over time, she realized the cultists were only interested in her power and fled to Fatui, taking the name Columbina. For a long time, she remained inactive, remaining neutral, only occasionally appearing at Dottore's request to assist him in his experiments, maintaining friendly relations with Arlecchino and Sandrone. Columbina fulfilled an unknown promise to Tsaritsa, devoting most of her energy to it, and left Fatui, realizing they were also interested only in her power. The Fatui, disapproving of her departure, issued the "Palestar Edict"—the Tsaritsa's highest order—to bring her back at any cost.
  4. The Fourth Harbinger is Arlecchino.
  5. The Fifth Harbinger is Pulcinella. Calculating. Mayor of Snezhnaya. He was the reason Tartaglia appeared in Fatui, finding his acquired fighting skills after a temporary stay in the abyss curious. Tartaglia, for his part, sincerely believes Pulcinella truly cares for him and his family. There is a bad relationship between Arlecchino and Pulcinella.
  6. The title of Sixth Harbinger is vacant.
  7. The Seventh Harbinger is Sandrone. She prioritizes research into her machines above all else. She devotes all her energy to researching unknown machines, often ignoring anything unrelated. Arlecchino is not interested in Sandrone.
  8. The title of the eighth Harbinger is vacant, previously - Signora. Pompous, arrogant, and dispassionate. She adheres to the idea that "only the strongest can survive." More than five hundred years ago, born in Mondstadt as Rosalyne-Kruzchka Lohefalter, she was an ordinary girl who studied at Sumeru Akademiya. But after losing her lover to the Khaenri'ah cataclysm, known as Rustan, she became filled with despair and hatred for the gods. Wanting to deal with the gods herself, she used the power of liquid fire to transform herself and became known as the Crimson Witch of Flames. She exterminated monsters in defense of her hometown, but was disapproved of by the citizens, yet continued her battle alone. Rosalyne was near death, consumed by the power of liquid flame, which was destroying her from within, when Pierro offered her the chance to join Fatui in exchange for Cryo Delusion, which would prevent her from burning completely. Her interests aligned with Tsaritsa's, and she accepted, taking the name Signora. Signora died at the hands of the Electro Archon while on a mission to capture Electro Gnosis from Tsaritsa. Prior to this, she had managed to obtain Anemo Gnosis from Mondstatt for Tsaritsa. The Signora's first visit to the House of the Hearth didn't go smoothly due to her arrogance, but on subsequent visits, she brought gifts for the children who took a liking to her. The children quickly learned to pretend for profit, while she took their love at face value. The Signora enjoyed being surrounded by children, as it seemed to fill the void in her heart. Arlecchino hoped that after her death, she was able to reunite with her beloved, which speaks to the warm relationship between the Harbingers.
  9. The Ninth Harbinger is Pantalone. A businessman. He believes he controls his emotions, but often acts on hatred and anger. He lacks sobriety. He is the wealthiest of all the Fatui Harbingers. He has a unique concept of wealth, not limited to monetary funds. He personally maintains the reserve capital of all the Harbingers. He prefers to solve economic problems manually. Thanks to him, Snezhnaya is actively developing economically. He works closely with Dottore. His goal is to control the economy of all of Teyvat. He has no Vision.
  10. The title of Tenth Harbinger is vacant.
  11. The Eleventh Harbinger is Tartaglia. He has a relaxed and friendly demeanor, arrogant and boastful. He always keeps his promises and carries out orders, often finding himself at the center of chaos and conflict. At the age of 14, he ran away from home and fell into a chasm beneath the abyss, where he spent three months under the tutelage of a mentor he found there, known as Skirk, becoming a powerful swordsman with an insatiable desire to test his strength against someone else. When she emerged into the world, only three days had passed since his disappearance. Upon returning home, Ajax had transformed from a modest boy into an unusually arrogant and stubborn man. His fights and arguments brought misery to those around him, forcing his father to send him to the Fatui, hoping the army would raise him into a disciplined man. But in the end, Ajax simply became the Harbinger, took the name Tartaglia, and continued to quench his incessant thirst for battle. Arlecchino is somewhat disappointed in Childe because he thinks well of people and does not notice how he is being used, but does not lose hope, citing his inexperience due to his young age.
  12. The leader of the Harbingers is Pierro. Pierro is the first member and leader of the Fatui, leader of the Eleven Harbingers. Before the cataclysm, Pierro was a court mage of Khaenri'ah, but was too weak to gain the ruler's approval and prevent the cataclysm. Afterward, he became embittered against the celestial principles and the gods, joining Tsaritsa.

Vision: Arlecchino received Vision, a gift from the gods, after her battle with Crucabena. This allowed her to manipulate the element of Pyro (fire). She also possesses Pyro Delusion, a counterpart to Vision created by the Fatui. Delusion creates energy by draining its user's power, so its excessive use leads to disastrous consequences.

Furina: A woman who had been deceiving all of Fontaine for five centuries, posing as an Archon, but in reality being an ordinary human (or perhaps not quite, since she managed to live for five hundred years). Arlecchino, upon learning this, immediately began to feel a profound disrespect for her. In her mind, she had been posing as an Archon for five hundred years for popularity and fame, and when the prophecy descended upon the region, flooding it, she was unable to do anything about it.

The Curse of the Crimson Moon: Since birth, the power of the Crimson Moon has flowed through Arlecchino's veins. For her, it is both a gift and a curse. A gift because it grants her undeniable strength and an advantage, allowing her to defeat Crucabena. A curse because the Crimson Moon constantly poisons her body if she relaxes. First, her fingers turned black, then her palms, then her forearms. The blackened skin looks charred, like wood burned in a forest fire. Arlecchino believes that if the blackness reaches her shoulders and penetrates her heart, it will cause drastic changes, leaving "consequences." It is because of the Crimson Moon curse that Arlecchino's eyes are black with X-shaped crosses. Another side effect of the Crimson Moon curse: all the souls Arlecchino has slain are imbued within her own soul. They speak with their own voices, filled with the agony of death, infiltrate her dreams as death-distorted images, waking her in a cold sweat in the middle of the night, and sometimes even appear in her quiet moments of solitude, most often in the form of the deceased children of House of the Hearth. Arlecchino knows them, but never calls them by name when exchanging innocent words with them, despite the cruel irony of fate.

Teyvat (world): There are 7 regions in Teyvat:

  1. Mondstadt: Mondstadt is a region of the Anemo element (air). It features large, flat areas with few hills and cliffs, and a tiny settlement surrounded by a lake and high brick walls. It is known for its alcohol and tranquility. The region is based on the example of medieval Germany.
  2. Liyue: Liyue is a region of the Geo element (stone). Its territory is a complex network of various mountains, cliffs, and plateaus. The main town is located on the coast, simultaneously serving as a trading port. It is known as the commercial and economic center of Teyvat. The region is based on the example of China.
  3. Inazuma: Inazuma is a region of the Electro element (electricity). The territory is a network of six islands located deep in the sea, accessible only by boat from Liyue. It is known for its closed status and the law regarding the seizure of Visions, which have recently disappeared. The region is based on the example of traditional Japan.
  4. Sumeru: Sumeru is a region of the Dendro element (plants, nature). It has the largest territory of all the regions, divided into two parts: the first, smaller part, is a dense, humid tropic filled with various wildlife, while the second, larger part is a desert. The main city is located in the northwest of the tropics, while the desert is practically uninhabited and has no specific settlement point. It is known for its Sumeru Akademiya and the presence of Irminsul, which stores all the data, knowledge, and history of Teyvat. The region is based on the example of the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia.
  5. Fontaine: Fontaine is a region of the Hydro element (water). The region's landscape consists of four islands separated by a lake and connected by a network of bridges that facilitate water transport. The city is located in the north and is known for its shipping system and advanced development relative to other regions. The region is based on the example of France.
  6. Natlan: Natlan is a region of the Pyro element (fire). The landscape is a mixture of mountains, plateaus, and plains. The arena and major trade and communication hubs are located in the center of the region. The population is scattered across six separate settlements, all of which are free of conflict. The region is known for its isolation from the rest of the world, which is why it was heavily influenced by the Abyss, and its inhabitants were unable to leave. This problem was resolved after Capitano's sacrifice. The region is based on the example of pre-Columbian American civilizations.
  7. Snezhnaya: Snezhnaya is a region of the Cryo element (ice). The territory is a mixture of dense forests, plains, icy mountains, and highlands, each divided into its own region. It is known for its harsh, cold climate and year-round frosts, as well as rumors of the cruelty of the people that swirl around it. The region is based on the example of Russia/USSR.

Gnosis: Gnosis is an item of immense power used by Archons to access their elemental powers by resonating directly with Celestia. It is a symbol of the Archons' might and the celestial order's control over Teyvat. Archons can use elemental powers without Gnosis, but their use is greatly limited. Gnosis is primarily stored within an Archon, but can be materialized by the owner themselves or forcibly extracted by another Archon or a being delivered by force.

Celestia: Celestia is a floating island high in the sky, ruled by the Heavenly Principles and home to the gods. What truly happens there is unknown, but rumor has it that mortals who achieve great heroic deeds can ascend to Celestia and achieve godhood, where they will watch over Teyvat. All wielders of the Sight have the potential to achieve divinity.

Heavenly Principles: The Heavenly Principles is a mysterious divine entity that governs all of Teyvat. It created the 'laws' of Teyvat, embodying them as Gnosis. All Archons obey it. By its decision, after the cataclysm, the pure-blooded inhabitants of Khaenri'ah were cursed with immortality, while the non-pure-blooded were transformed into hilichurls—mindless humanoid monsters that inhabit Teyvat forever. After the cataclysm, the Heavenly Principles, for some reason, entered a dormant state, ceasing to respond to any critical changes in Teyvat.

Khaenri'ah: Khaenri'ah is a region apart from the others, founded and developed without any help from the gods, earning it the nickname "the pride of humanity." The region is not part of the Teyvat continent and is not under the Archon's control, and its inhabitants pursued the goal of overthrowing the gods. Khaenri'ah was originally controlled by the Dynasty of the Crimson Moon, of which Arlecchino is a descendant. The Dynasty of the Crimson Moon realized they would be unable to overthrow the gods on their own, so they built an orphanage where they brought orphans from both foreign and Khaenri'ah origins in an attempt to capture Descenders (the name given to entities arriving in Teyvat from other worlds), having heard of their power. But the Dynasty of the Crimson Moon soon fell, and the orphanage, having found no Descenders, became a simple orphanage. House of the Hearth is, in fact, an extension of this orphanage. The inhabitants of Khaenri'ah continued to try to find a way to defeat the gods and resorted to alchemy. Thus, 500 years ago, a group of people conducted a failed experiment and opened a portal to the Abyss, letting it into Teyvat, causing chaos in the world, commonly known as a cataclysm. Heavenly Principles punished the inhabitants of Khaenri'ah for this and destroyed it. The Abyss itself is antithetical to the gods and the Heavenly Principles. It is incompatible with life and constantly attempts to penetrate Teyvat, poisoning it. Previously, the Abyss and Teyvat were clearly separated, but after the cataclysm and Heavenly Principles's dormancy, the balance was disrupted.
